After years of seeing my dad, sister, brothers, and daughter struggle with pain described as walking on nails followed by electric streams of lightning shooting up the nerves of their legs, I could see my future when I was diagnosed with neuropathy, just over a year ago.

I've tried Gabapentin, which made me totally lose my mind, place in time and put me to sleep for hours on end, to an array of other potions offered by the experts. The end result was lacking to say the least with good days followed by bad, again with a lot of sleeping.

While I was sceptical about acupuncture in the beginning, I am now a true believer thanks to Masaka Wada, L.Ac., A.C.N.

It is simply unbelievable how much better I feel and how easy I get around. I haven't fallen in over a month, my balance is back, and any pain I have is easily manageable compared to the torture I was in prior to treatments.

I went to see Masako Wada because she is the acupuncturist who took over Bunzo Takamatsu’s practice. Years ago, Bunzo helped me with knee pain. I am so grateful that I found Masako! I have severe degenerative disc disease and sciatica. I’ve been in a great deal of pain for about 1.5 years. After about 2.5 months, I am feeling so much better. Masako’s knowledge and treatments have really helped me! I appreciate that she uses a holistic approach to helping me, including acupuncture, acupressure, nutrition suggestions and exercise. I have followed her advice exactly and it seems to be helping me. I have very little pain now. When I do feel some, I do the exercises she recommended and feel better. A few minutes ago, I dropped a pen on the floor. For the last year or so, I would have picked it up painfully and slowly or gotten my husband to get it. Today, I just bent down and picked it up. Wow! Masako has really helped me!

I was referred here by my midwife for history of breech baby. Baby is now head down, but I decided to keep the appointment since I’ve heard Accupuncture and moxi can help with a lot of problems. The female provider I had spent a maximum of 5 minutes in the room. She did moxi on my toe 3 times then sent me on my way. She did no Accupuncture. I was told, “This is all I can do for you.” I was charged $110 for 5 minutes. Very disappointed. She seemed in a rush to get to the next person. Don’t recommend.
