I am so very grateful to have found Dr. Kim. He is literally magic! I had such severe lower back pain that I almost couldn’t walk. It was resolved after the 2nd session. We continued through my body until all ailments were addressed. Not only does he take time and offer such high care, he also never seems like he is rushing. I just love going and my body does too. Office is clean and large. His wife is A+ as well, she’s so kind and generous. If you have pain or stiffness, if your posture is wrong, he will get you were you need to be. I also really like that he does Chinese medicine as well. Targeting the meridians and organs as well. Thank You for everything!

Growing up as an American in Asia I was introduced to Acupuncture at an early age.
5 decades later I still trust this form of healing! Recently, I BADLY injured my ankle on a run where the swelling did NOT go down for 3 weeks, accompanied by pain and crutches. I accidentally stumbled on Root Acupuncture Clinic as they are located in my building. 3 sessions later, my ankle size is back to normal, and after the 3rd treatment, I am off my crutches completely. Root Acupuncture is awesome. Dr. Kim is very kind and caring.
Called clinic for a severely sprained left elbow and forearm. Nanda was able to schedule me the next day. Dr. Kim has treated my elbow for 3 weeks and it feels so much better.
The treatments have ranged from acupuncture, heat, electric acupuncture and deep tissue acupressure. I can't thank Dr. Kim enough. If you need treatment for an injury or pain, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!!!!

My 12-year-old son has sprained his ankle multiple times and suffered from consistent pains for years. As a last resort, we decided to try out Root Acupuncture Clinic. On certain days, the office doesn’t open in the morning, but when Dr. Kim heard about my son, he was more than willing to accommodate our schedule. Initially, we made the third appointment. However, after the second visit, he had zero pain, so graciously the office allowed us to cancel it at the last minute. Dr. Kim is truly a miracle worker, and his office staff was amiable and attentive. If you live in Conejo Valley, you must give Dr. Kim a chance to treat you. Big thanks to Root Acupuncture Clinic!

I have recently had a wonderful experience with Dr. Kim. I had suffered from chronical pain in my lower back since I was in 40's. I did try every treatment that I was provided from my primary doctor , including taking painkillers and exercise. Still didn't work. When my older one's friend visited us last week, she shared her experience with Dr. Kim. So I decided to try to go Dr. Kim's office. I finally went there yesterday. Wow. He has amazing hands. He knew what cause pain after talking with me. I felt calm and fresh after acupuncture and moxa treatments. He also let me know how diet changing is important to manage the inflammation and pain. I have several severe chronic conditions, a couple of them including Fybromialgia and Bipolar I, and I have had little luck in finding long term treatment that consistently helps. This clinic has provided that for me, which is amazing because I’ve tried acupuncture and all sorts of other stuff before. Not only that, but I have been here several times and the staff is always incredibly nice and accommodating. I was very hesitant to try a new clinic, but I am so glad I can here and I will continue to do so 🙂
