I had a therapeutic massage from Kiersten, yesterday. This was my first visit to Active Therapeutic Massage and Wellness and my first therapeutic massage. I cannot say enough good things about Kiersten or the massage she gave me. When I left after the massage, my entire body felt light and there was no stiffness or pain anywhere in my body. I woke up today with the usual after effects from massage, but after a hot shower, I played 4 hours of pickleball today and I feel great. Kiersten took a thorough history before my appointment and asked additional questions to determine the kind of therapeutic massage that would best address the issues I had. During the massage she was telling me what she felt and I was amazed at how she could tell by simply massaging my muscles. She’s a very kind and thoughtful person in addition to being a knowledgeable and skilled massage therapist. I have already booked my next appointment with her and have already recommended her to my pickleball friends. Do yourself a favor and come get the best massage of your life!

I have psoriatic arthritis which causes fluid retention in my joints and particularly my knees. This makes bending my knees very uncomfortable. Amy performed a lymphatic massage and I had significant relief by the end of the treatment. So much better than taking pain meds!

This was my first experience with chakra balancing so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Maggie was very thoughtful. She called me prior to appointment to go over some details prior to our session so I could receive a better experience. It was honestly the most relaxing experience I have had. The sounds created from the crystal bowls were so calming. I did fall asleep but I was conscious of the whole process. When the session was over I was completely rejuvenated. It was a awesome experience.
