My husband and I cannot thank Dr. Zhang enough for his incredible support on our fertility journey. From the moment we walked into his clinic, we felt welcomed and cared for—he is truly one of the kindest, most knowledgeable, and dedicated practitioners we have ever met.

My husband struggled with low sperm count, and through Dr. Zhang’s acupuncture treatments and customized herbal remedies, his count increased more than sevenfold! I was also dealing with mild PCOS, which Dr. Zhang helped regulate with acupuncture and herbs. Not only did this improve my overall health, but it also significantly enhanced my egg quality, which was crucial for our IVF process.

We really appreciated how he worked around my IVF schedule and was able to fit me in. His office is clean and I love that he always puts music on and covers you in a blanket so you aren’t cold. I am actually now going back to see him for help with my nausea and morning sickness.

I had a friend recommend traditional Chinese medicine for fertility treatment and after a quick google search I found Dr. Zhang. Having no prior experience with TCM, acupuncture or herbs I was very apprehensive of whether or not this could help unexplained fertility but was willing to try anything to help our dream of starting a family. I trusted Dr. Zhang’s treatment plan consisting of regular acupuncture sessions and drinking prescribed herbs to increase my egg quality. I retested my AMH levels (through a blood test) after two months and the numbers improved! Prior to this, I was never told that I could do anything to improve my AMH. Dr. Zhang used his expertise to complement my fertility treatment through my clinic. He is extremely knowledgeable and very honest (he will not provide you treatment unless you absolutely need it). I had approximately three months treatment where I trusted the process and gave time for the natural treatment to work. I wholeheartedly believe that Dr. Zhang is the reason why I was lucky enough to have given birth to healthy twins. His care, compassion and guidance were instrumental to my health and my family can’t thank him enough! I have recommended him to my family and friends for a variety of other treatments as well. I am writing this review - 2 months postpartum with my healthy baby boy. I can confidently say that Dr. Zhang was a huge contributing factor in my ability to become pregnant and maintain a healthy pregnancy. I highly recommend Dr. Zhang to anyone looking for an experienced, knowledgable, dedicated and supportive acupuncturist to support them in their fertility journey.

I began working with Dr.Zhang in the summer of 2022 at 34yo. I was at the end of my journey of “unexplained” infertility and wanted to exhaust all options before giving up. The main factor for my inability to get/maintain pregnancy seemed to be my egg quality. In total, I’d gone through 2 failed IVF transfers from 2 different clinics - one of which told me I needed donor eggs at 32yo. I was committed to exhaust all options before closing the book. Since I’d already spent a significant amount of money on fertility treatments, I figured there was no harm in spending some more in an attempt at eastern medicinal practice. I had nothing to lose and everything to gain.

I was told about Dr.Zhang by a friend. Upon meeting Dr.Zhang, he was very upfront and genuine. I explained my journey to him and he said he could help me, but it wouldn’t be easy, it would be expensive and would require full commitment and dedication from me, which I was prepared to do. In my case, in order for Dr. Zhang’s treatment to be successful, he provided fresh Chinese medicinal herbs that need to be brewed and drank multiple times a day, plus frequent acupuncture appointments sometimes 2-3 times a week. He is well versed in his treatments and adjusted as he needed to based on my individual needs. Dr. Zhang frequently asked me to update him on my results at the fertility clinic so he could adjust his treatment accordingly.

After 4 months of intensive treatment including acupuncture and herbs, I underwent my 3rd and most successful IVF round. In previous rounds I’d only managed to get 1-3 embryos viable to transfer. In my IVF round after Dr.Zhang’s treatments, I had 8 viable embryos! I was blown away and elated. I continued to see Dr. Zhang in preparation for my embryo transfer and followed his lead. I was able to become and stay pregnant. I couldn’t be more thankful to have connected with Dr.Zhang.

Everyone’s journey is different, however based on the huge improvement in my IVF rounds, I most certainly believe this is largely due to making adjustments to my diet, intensive acupuncture with Dr.Zhang and a proper IVF protocol. I will undoubtedly see Dr.Zhang again, prior to my next embryo transfer.

Dr. Zhang made our dreams come true! I suffered from unexplained infertility for 2 years before I visited Zhang. We tried IUIs, naturopathic supplements, saw multiple specialists and were still unable to conceive. I was told my follicles did not mature enough and my lining was too thin. During my first visit with Zhang, he asked me about everything and used a holistic approach to his care.
He recommended that I give him a minimum of 3 months of acupuncture treatment before any IUIs because this would allow the acupuncture and Chinese herbal teas enough time to start working. He told me that his goal was to improve egg quality and that requires time. Initially, I was worried about waiting but I really trusted Dr. Zhang and I decided to follow his recommendations. After the first month of treatment of acupuncture and Chinese herbs, I began noticing positive changes to my body and cycle. I was developing multiple mature follicles and my uterine lining also thickened! After exactly 3 months of treatment, we decided to go for an IUI and it was successful! I continued acupuncture treatment for the first trimester and I experienced no nausea or vomiting. I was feeling very well. I returned to Dr. Zhang when I was 40 weeks for acupuncture treatment to induce labor. After 4 treatments, I was surprised to find out that I was 90% effaced and 4cm dilated at my routine OB apt - I was not experiencing any pain or contractions at this time. I delivered a healthy baby girl the following day. I recommend Dr. Zhang to everyone I know now. He is very experienced and understands the body on a deeper level beyond the medical scope. He looks at the whole picture and is very invested in helping all of his clients succeed. Dr. Zhang truly cares about every person who walks into his office. I can’t thank-you enough for everything Dr. Zhang!

It started with a reluctant phone call and Dr. Zhang turned our life over within less than three months. I had a history of irregular periods and had two miscarriages in the past. The miscarriages had further caused more irregularity in my menstrual cycles and also affected my hormones. We went to the fertility clinic and did all the required tests for months. Since my FSH level was very high (24), doctors suggested IUI as we were not getting pregnant naturally. After the first unsuccessful IUI attempt, a friend suggested Dr. Zhang's name. Dr. Zhang is honest and gives the true picture of patient's condition and how much he can help about it. His treatment and herbs helped me get pregnant naturally and now we have a healthy baby. My periods post delivery have also taken a toss, I know where to go.

What I heard about him is that he under commits and over delivers and that’s so true!

My mother also visited Dr. Zhang for her knee pain and she felt very relieved after only three visits.

I'd definitely recommend Dr. Zhang's treatment and herbs. I myself totally plan on continuing to get treatment from Dr. Zhang in the future also. I feel lucky to have found about him just in time 🙂

Dr. Zhang was fantastic. I hurt my back and went to him for the first time. Because I went a few days after hurting my back, full inflammation hadn’t set in yet, and his treatment worked quickly. After the first treatment, I felt a 40-50% relief from the pain. After four treatments I felt better.
