Acupuncture of Palo Alto is my go to for health and wellness. Until recently I’ve used western medicine whenever I’ve been ill or or had health issues, but the pandemic and and how it changed modern medicine and the difficulty of getting in to see a doctor made me reevaluate things.

I’ve always been a little hesitant to try something new, but last year I was having some major health issues and a friend encouraged me to try acupuncture. I was introduced to Yaping, the owner and we discussed my issues as well as my hesitation and nervousness on trying acupuncture. She was very patient and attentive and it wasn’t long before she settled my nerves and we tried a few needles. I soon realized there wasn’t anything to be afraid of and within hours of treatment I could already feel a difference to my health.

Since that first visit, I’ve gone back to see her several times for different health issues: allergies, blood pressure, anxiety, menopause and gastrointestinal problems. I’ve been amazed at the results and feel so much healthier and am now a true believer in holistic therapy vs taking medicine, having a bunch of tests run that may or may not give the right answers or being told that surgery is the answer.

Yaping is a wonderful acupuncturist and really cares about your health and helping you to feel your best and the environment there is very tranquil. With the gentle music playing, the quiet peace and the heat lamps ( optional), I am transported into a meditative, relaxing state. It's a truly tranquil and positive experience.

Yaping, the owner of Acupuncture of Palo Alto is a miracle worker. I started seeing her for treatment in September of 23 and am now a true fan of the healing that acupuncture can provide.

I initially went in for treatment on my shoulder, had a major surgery the previous year and had quite a mass of flesh down to the bone removed and since then my shoulder had ached and hurt. I am an avid outdoorsman and the pain would spike whenever I was active. I was referred to Yaping from a friend and am so glad, because not only has acupuncture healed my shoulder of any discomfort, but I’ve also continued to go back now for other issue like mental balancing from work stress, but also blood pressure, allergy and breathing problems.

Yaping is a true healer and is a wonderful person. She is kind and a great listener and is very in tune to your body. She offers a wide range of options to aid with healing and caters to what you are comfortable with. I would definitely encourage all to try acupuncture if you haven’t done so. I’m a fan!

I am a lawyer at a tech company that manages a lot of stress (close deals worth billions), and I was looking for an accu that can help manage my lifestyle. I have stress and issues sleeping the entire night.

If you come across this place consider yourself truly blessed. I have seen more than a dozen accus throughout my life due to being in different job locations and know when someone is talented. Yaping Chen is so amazing. In one month working with her, my anxiety is barely there (it doesn't surface through the entire day) and I can sleep through the nights with no issue.

Yaping has this unique, unworldly way of working with people. Her heart is completely in her work, and she cares so much about her patients. She intuitively knows where blocks are in your body w/o you having to say much, and uses CranioSacral Therapy as a healing technique (that not many people know). Each accu session has brought so much joy.

I had the unfortunate experience of getting sepsis, which attacked my heart, which required emergency open heart surgery. The surgeons saved my life, but I was left in a state that was only half alive. I was experiencing frequent ups and downs in my health and didn't think I'd ever really recover until I found Yaping Chen. I have no idea why, but this woman's work has given me my life back. (Most of her focus is on unblocking channels.)

In order to enable my heart and lungs to heal, I am having to get treatment four times a week. Though this level of intensity is, I expect, unusual, Ms.Chen's approach seems to require repeated, frequent visits for a short or long period of time depending on condition of client. This requires a significant initial expense. For me, there is no question that it is worth every penny. But I think it's important to understand that this is likely to be the case before you start.
