I found Dr Zelina after hearing her on Organic Olivia’s podcast in 2020. I’ve been following her on Instagram since then. I currently live in Portland, OR and flew out to LA to work with her. When l walked into the AcuVida Acupuncture healing center, l felt a good and calming vibe. I was there for the Micro needling facial to help with hyperpigmentation and sunspots. Dr. Zelina explained the process and showed me the devices.
I then felt relaxed. I was sensitive to the treatment, but it was NOT painful.
I was there to boost my collagen production.
After the facial she applied a high grade organic based serum and a cooling mask which felt great!
I did experience some redness for a few hours, however, my facial skin was left refreshed and glowing. I highly recommend this as an option to maintain a fresh and healthy appearance. I found Dr.Zelina after listening to her interview on Organic Olivia's podcast. Olivia is based in NY, but thankfully Dr.Zelina is in LA 🙂 & the fact that she is Latinx, I was beyond excited to meet her and get acupuncture done by her. I booked the facial rejuvenation package, which was definitely an investment $ I'm not gonna lie, BUT the results were amazing. I had a lot of symptoms around my menstrual cycle that I thought were normal like breast tenderness, blood clots, acne, etc. I wanted to resolve the acne more than anything, and after these treatments I can honestly say that she resolved ALL of my symptoms. Obviously, I was most excited about my skin. My face has never been clearer and I am so happy!

I was also curious to try micro needling so I booked one of these sessions too! It's different than just acupuncture needles placed in your face, she goes over your face with this like pen...that has smaller needles in it (it's not as scary as it sounds)! Anyway, my skin did look red after but days later I noticed the results.

The simple life in the country

After depending on pain meds and antibiotics for fibroids discomfort, migraines, joint stiffness, constant UTI. Im sure more women out there can relate to this symptoms and it affects our daily life.
