I came down with Bell’s palsy back in June. The left side of my face was suddenly paralyzed and numb. I had severe sensitivity to light and had a lot of pain from the back of my head to my ear on the affected side. I had headaches and I had a terrible time focusing. I had no real help from doctors, neurologists, and chiropractors. I was almost 3 months into Bell’s palsy and no real improvement until I found Affinity Acupuncture. I am not a fan of needles and never had acupuncture before. But Dr. Alexander made me feel comfortable and what I appreciated most was his straightforwardness with recovery goals, type of treatment and length of recovery. Visible change was almost immediate. About a week later I experienced some small movement on the affected side. Now, about 6 months after first getting Bell’s palsy I’m almost completely recovered. And I attribute it to Dr. Alexander. He gave me my smile back and I cannot thank him enough for everything he’s done. I highly recommend him to anyone experiencing something regular doctors fail to help with. He is not only extremely knowledgeable, but he’s also the friendliest person you could ever encounter. 100 stars!

A really wonderful experience every time!

I first came to Affinity several years ago and recently returned to treat chronic anxiety that was being exacerbated by life situations.

I of course came for the acupuncture treatment, but I also went with the ATP treatments in conjunction with acupuncture, and I am SO glad that I did!

My treatments were so relaxing and really eased my anxiety gradually over time. Each session had immediate short term benefits, but with each consecutive session I also began to feel a deeper impact that stuck with me. Dr. William really helped me prioritize my self care and healing. His office assistant Sarah was wonderful as well.

This was such an enjoyable experience overall, and I would encourage anyone to give it a try.

My experience as a patient of Dr. Alexander has been extremely positive. I decided to try a new approach for shoulder pain that's been going on for about 3 years. I use chiropractic treatments regularly to mitigate the pain, but they haven't solved the issue. Adding 2 acupuncture visits per week for the last month has gifted me with cumulative improvement in mobility and sleep. I have completed 8 acupuncture visits. Today I added a cupping experience for the second time with this same practitioner and I am amazed at how my stress just seemed to leave my body by the end of the session. I am impressed with Dr. Alexander's expertise and personable manner. He is easy to talk to, he is committed to his patient's well-being and his skill is exceptional.

Dr. William Alexander is truly amazing. At first I was skeptical about whether the acupuncture would be effective and resolve my pain in the ankle. After my first consultation with Dr. Alexander and talking to him, he made me feel less anxious about the procedure and more relaxed. After many physical therapy sessions and being seen by an Orthopedic Back Surgeon and a second opinion from another Orthopedic Surgeon, both stating they would not do back surgery on me, my Primary Care Physician suggested my seeing a Licensed Acupuncturist or using a hemp products to help relieve my severe back pain. I called my medical insurance company asking for acceptive providers. They gave me three. I chose Affinity Acupuncture, Dr. Alexander in Brentwood, Tennessee. Going for the consultation, he agreed to treat me. My muscle spasms were less severe after my third treatment. My treatments have helped me tremendously. I find a prompt, friendly, clean and professional atmosphere at Affinity Acupuncture. This is a great way to find relief from pain.
