Returned here this year and what a complete difference in treatment.
Bedside manners are no longer present!
He didn't even asked me why I was there, didn't recognize me again even after speaking lengths about growing up with a Penecostal Father as he claims to be a Pentecostal pastor,.....just walked in and said, "Neck"....and only wanted to treat that. I spoke up and said I was there for my sinuses as he went on and on to tell me after his wife took my insurance and copay, that insurance doesn't pay him for sinuses and only treats pain. I said, "Okay, I can leave. I'm here for sinuses." He said, "If that's what you want to do." Then throws the needles away and continues on this rant about insurance not paying him since he changed his government EIN number. I'm thinking...how is this my problem I should of left, but he said, "Only this last time since I haven't got paid for any patients with insurance for all last year." Then he asked who my insurance was!!! He did the treatment, but when he came back to remove the needles, he continued to complain about not being paid and offered for me to talk to his wife about it since he didn't know the details!!! I felt completely UNCOMFORTABLE and APPALLED by him taking his frustration OUT ON ME!!! I walked out and didn't care to talk to his incompetent wife that I gave my insurance card to. He offered for me to see his dad next door for herbs, but at this point I was so insulted I'm not even thinking about supporting any part of this family that I USED recommend. LEARN SOME MANNERS DOC!!!

The treatment was a totally new experience for me so I was a bit nervous to be honest. I was happy I decided to have the acupuncture done. Their kindness & professionalism from the reception to the doctor explaining everything was superior. As for the effects of treatment, it gives me great relief. I highly recommend giving Blessed Acupuncture a try if you are in need of their services. You won't be disappointed~♡ (btw: I've gone multiple times & continue to do so even though for me, its quite a commute.)

I’ve been coming here for a while now and every session always makes me feel rested and relieved of pain. I started going for a TFCC wrist injury I got from climbing and every session gives me good pain relief. I always fall asleep during the session from the relaxation feeling I get. Dr. Duong is friendly, compassionate, and so knowledgeable! He is easy to talk to and he really listens, I am happy to have a good doctor in my area that I can count on. His services have helped me with my TMJ, lower back pain from powerlifting, and my clicking shoulder from rock climbing. I also get my herbs from him too. I look forward to my weekly appointments with Dr. Duong. The space is clean and comfy, I feel at ease afterwards.

Bell's Palsy Treatment. I started treatment with Dr. Allen Duong at Blessed Acupuncture & Wellness 1 week after contracting Bell's Palsy. After two treatments my wife, family, and neighbors saw an improvement in my facial movements. After 4 weeks of treatments, my wife, family, and neighbors who know me well say I look normal and people who aren't aware that I contracted Bell's Palsy say that they would not have known if I hadn't said anything.
Additionally I have started treatment for paresthesia is my arms. After the first treatment I felt a decrease in the pin prickles and an increase in my hand and finger sensitivity for touch.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Allen for Bell's Palsy treatment and acupuncture treatment in general. He has a calm and supportive presence, and is an experienced and competent practitioner.

Pain No More!

Feeling incredible! I highly recommend giving acupuncture a chance if you are suffering from pain, stress or lingering sports injuries. Dr. Allen is fantastic; I was afraid of needless but he is careful and professional, I felt relaxed and pain free throughout all my sessions.

I decided to give acupuncture a chance due to a wrist/knee pain that came back after going through physical therapy and I’m so glad I did. Acupuncture works fast, after a couple of sessions I could already feel the difference in my movement and resumed running/working out.

Later I decided to try acupuncture on my ankle. I suffered a sprain (twisted ankle) years ago and it was never the same. Stretching my ankle was uncomfortable and had limited mobility. My body feels so much better, it is almost miraculous.

I highly recommend acupuncture and Dr. Allen specially to everyone. His family has been doing this for years and it shows. I am a believer and I’m so happy I gave this a chance. I have healed from the the inside out.
