Been going here for 10 years best massage not even for the price just best massage all around. They are very nice to me. You should always call and make an appointment. You only really need to call 20 minutes in advance.

I've been a client for several years, and so the 4-star rating is a longitudinal one. The shop set-up is an open room with about 12 chairs in which massages happen simultaneously. They will accommodate private massages but these are out of the ordinary economy-rate service model. There is a sliding scale menu based on duration and focus of the massage. They will try to upsell you, but that is just the way of the world. Simply decline if the more expensive service is not what you are looking for, and move on.

The therapists are all trained to deliver a specific sequence of massage techniques and do not deviate (though they will make some accommodations for instance , if you don't like to have your face touched or your toes are ticklish), but this is not Burger King - you cannot have it your way, this is the massage service you are buying when you pick from the menu. If you are used to the 'being alone in a room with a single therapist and telling exactly how you want spend the hour' model, that's fine but it is not what is going on here. Perhaps open your mind and heart to an expansive notion of what is possible and you may be delighted.

The therapists are a revolving cast of folks with limited (sometimes very limited) English. However, you can make yourself understood if you are patient and ask simply for more or less pressure, or not my face, etc. If you have an injury, make it known to the reception desk and they will communicate that to the therapist if you are not fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese. As with all workers, sometimes their game is on point and sometimes they are having an off day. That is why the longitudinal perspective is important. I have had some epic massages at this business and I have also had some stinkers, however most of my experiences have somewhere in the middle, skewing positive, and almost always I leave with an enhanced sense of well-being.

I have been going to China Foot Massage for about 15 years, and it has helped a lot with my chronic back pain. Jason and Jessey, the owners, are a pleasant, hard working couple. They hire excellent professional massage therapists and the business is clean and well ventilated. I am a microbiologist, and the cleanliness aspect is especially important to me! The cost is a bargain.

It’s fine for what it is. I got a 60 min (55 min) body and foot massage ($45) that the lady at the front kept trying to upsell me to 90 mins ($70).

The massage was fine, more like someone petting me and pressing on me, but it was ok. When I was paying I gave 18% tip, which I thought was fair for what I got, but the lady tried to convince me to give more, then got mad when I said I thought what I was giving was fair. Maybe I should have at this point with the current tipping culture, but I think it was a bit uncomfortable.

The weirdest part for me was watching someone clean up after a client and seeing they used the same towels and blankets when setting up for the next person, just straightening them out rather than replacing them with clean ones. The only thing that was replaced was two pieces of paper towel for the face hole.

Anyway, they seem to be doing ok since I heard a few people coming in and out who seemed to be regulars, so there are definitely some people who are happy with this place!

Edit- Gave them a second chance and was going to change this review to a high rating, but when I was checking out the same pushy owner creepily had this review pulled up on his phone and made me feel really weird about it. Not coming back here ever again. Ill pay some more money for better ownership and professionalism at a different place.

Massage felt good and price was low. Everything else was negative. It smelled bad in the building, there was an employee loudly hacking up phlegm in the bathroom, and when I was paying the (presumed) owner pushingly said “Tip is usually 20%” 3 times before finally accepting my 15% tip. I can tip however much I want to. I would not recommend this business.
