Went in due to Post Covid symptoms (eyes, balance, fatigue, etc.).
Was not a 'believer' in acupuncture, but got a strong recommendation on Complete Oriental Medical Care, and was willing to try most anything.

It has helped me greatly!
Additionally, the facilities are great, the care and professionalism is very very good, and nothing like many stories I'd heard about 'mass acupuncture in group rooms'.

I don't know enough to explain why or how it had helped, just obviously has.
If you even slightly considering getting acupuncture, I highly recommend Complete Oriental Medical Care.

I’ve been going to Complete Oriental for about 6 months now. I suffer from depression, PTSD and anxiety from childhood trauma. After the first couple acupuncture sessions my anxiety began to decrease. After my treatment plan, my panic attacks have gone away and my depression has greatly decreased. Steven Sonmore is a True Healer. I started my acupuncture treatments with him three years ago after I was diagnosed with a rare cancer. I was 48 years old and receiving chemotherapy and radiation treatments. After starting acupuncture treatments with Steven, my side effects from the cancer treatments went away. I had more energy, better sleep and I never missed a cancer treatment due to low numbers. I have continued seeing Steven on a regular basis over the past three years and over that time, he has treated me for multiple health issues. I had a torn ACL and I was told that I would need surgery. I decided to have Steven treat me three times a week for three months before getting the surgery. When I returned to my orthopedic surgeon at the Mayo Clinic, he was shocked by my healing and said that I would not need surgery after all. It has been a year and a half since my injury and I have not had any issues or pain and I have been able to return to my normal life. Steven has also treated me for tendinitis in my achilles, hands and wrists. These issues were also resolved without surgery or medications. I have had him treat me for colds, flues, rashes from toxic weeds, stress, Covid, exhaustion and hot flashes with success. I do still see my oncologist, gynecologist and primary doctors on a regular basis, but they are all thrilled with the results that I have had with Steven and they encourage me to continue my treatments. My goal has always been to avoid unnecessary surgeries and prescriptions and Steven has definitely helped me to achieve this goal. I always look forward to my acupuncture appointments. Steven's assistant, Naigin, is very kind and cheerful. She makes scheduling appointments very pleasant and she is very helpful with the insurance paperwork. She and Steven have always cared deeply about me and my health. Steven has a very calm and gentle style and he always takes extra time to listen to how I am feeling before each treatment. He is always more than happy to discuss any health issue that I may be having that day and he has never made me feel rushed while getting a treatment. The environment is so peaceful and calm that I usually fall asleep. I would like to say that Steven Sonmore is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to acupuncture, nutrition, well being and overall health. I plan to continue acupuncture treatments with Steven until he retires and I give him my highest recommendation.

After what I thought was a typical ankle sprain that turned into a never ending battle with pain and where conventional treatments and therapies didn't help, I opened my mind to try something new. I went from difficulties walking across the street to being able to resume going for walks, short ones at first but steadily improving to a more normal stride and gaining endurance back. I’ve been going to Complete Oriental for almost 3 years now. My issues were stress and poor quality of sleep (meaning I sleep very lightly or wake up at night and find it difficult to go back to sleep). After the first few acupuncture sessions with Steven, the quality of my sleep improved tremendously- I sleep more deeply, I go back to sleep quickly and I wake up feeling rested. My stress has also become more manageable. The treatments made a big difference in my health and overall well-being. I love it so much that after I completed the first series of accelerated treatments, I continue to get every 2-3 weeks maintenance treatment. Acupuncture has become a staple in my health and self care. If you have sleep/stress issues I highly recommend Steve’s acupuncture treatment. He is outstanding in his craft. You will sleep and feel better!

I had knee replacement surgery in November of 2021 with a bad result of excessive scar tissue. I have tried every form of physical therapy at the top PT clinics in town. Although I had marginal improvements in my range of motion, I was still not happy with the limited range of my knee. My wife had success with Steven on her back issues and told me I should give acupuncture a try. After two months of acupuncture and rapid release (jack hammer) treatments, I can honestly say that my range of motion has significantly improved and has shown to be the most successful form of PT that I have received.
