If anyone is hesitant on trying acupuncture, please take the moment to read this. For the past two years, I spent a significant amount of time and money on appointments, tests, and procedures at traditional doctors’ offices, only to end up with no real answers or relief. The medications I was given often made me feel worse, and none of the doctors took the time to identify the true cause of my issues.

At 40 years young I was devastated, being diagnosed with facial paralysis/Bell’s Palsy. Reaching out to so many referrals, beginning with the Hospital recommendation. Only to be back logged into 2025.

I suffer from chronic pain in my hands, fingers and wrist. I have degenerative bone disease in my legs, and patella femora in both knees. I also have fibromyalgia. Over the last seven years, I have suffered with chronic pain levels ranging from 6 to 9 consistently on a daily basis. As for treatment, I prefer a more wholistic approach. Acupuncture has been one of my top treatment methods. It works! Especially, if treated by a well qualified Practitioner who knows precise pressure points for your specific areas of pain.

I was treated by two other Acupuncture Clinics in Memphis prior to being referred to Dr. Ly Natural Health Acupuncture Clinic on Highland Avenue. Hands down, I had never experienced a more significant reduction in pain levels within moments of applying the acupuncture points. It may sound silly but, it felt like magic. I literally could not believe it. The acupuncture treatment I've had in past years absolutely relieved my pain and inflammation but not to the degree I experienced with Dr. Ly's Clinic.

My first visit was last on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. I walked in with pain levels between 7 and 8 in multiple locations. I walked out a solid 5 across the board. Over the last week, my pain levels remained between 5 and 6. On Wednesday, July 24, 2024 was my second visit. I walked in at pain level 5. I walked out at level 3. Unbelievable! I believe that if I continue to make healthy life choices, combined with the acupuncture and cupping treatment I'm receiving at Dr. Ly's Clinic, I will be pain free again.

In my opinion, Dr. Ly Natural Health Acupuncture Clinic is a world class treatment center. The overall experience from the expertise proven by generations of the family practice, the professionalism, friendliness of the staff, and a very clean facility is everything to me.
