I have been seeing Dr. Patricia Dixon for almost 2 years now, and she is probably one of the best psychologists I’ve ever and will ever work with.
She has helped me feel more comfortable verbalizing my emotions, and certainly helped me stake out the path I wish to take in life. Fair warning, she is very honest with her patients; she won’t treat you like you’re fragile. Half the fun her is the banter.
The atmosphere of the office is very mild but stylish, and comfortable to be around. I would give Dr. Dixon serious consideration if you are looking for a fantastic Psychologist.

I have used Dr. Dixon as needed, during major life issues (primarily, relationships) for nearly 10 years now. She is very knowledgeable, personable, and I always leave a session with her feeling it was helpful and worth my time. I have experienced other Psychologists (due to moving throughout the years) who do a lot of note taking, "Mmm-hmming", & head nodding during a session which I look at as a giant waste of my time. I have left those few sessions feeling upset over the lack of help I felt I received. Dr. Dixon listens, asks questions, brings up past situations from your life -- really makes you think about how you've grown, better learned to deal with anxiety/stress, and meeting with her can be like having an insightful conversation with an old friend. I am thankful for how she's helped me over the years and when I find myself in a stressful situation, I often think back to the knowledge/advice she's given me and should I feel that is not enough, I am quick to schedule an appointment with her to talk things out in person. She's always accommodating, scheduling phone or video consults at times. If you're looking for someone who can actually help you with what you're going through rather than simply "listening" and allowing you to vent, give her a call.

Educated, Intelligent therapist but business practices are borderline. Showed up late for 2 of 4 appointments (middle of the day). No office/secretary/phone-number. Left 4 messages with phone-service over 2 months to make appointment without response – requires patients to disable their spam protection so she can call from her personal cell blocking her caller-ID. I believe she may have been able to help us if she were more professional.
