My husband and I could not be happier with the experience we have had at Eastern Balance Oriental Medicine! My husband has been battling a torn meniscus for more than a year. He refuses to have surgery, so we turned to Dr. Gong for help. The acupuncture has relieved his pain and the physical therapy she recommended has certainly helped between weekly visits in making his knee stronger. She is very kind and wise beyond her years! We appreciate all that she has done to help.

Dr. Gong's practitioner, Jean, is also excellent. She has been very helpful and is learning from Dr. Gong!

My journey with chronic pain and migraine happened suddenly two years ago on Christmas Eve. Overnight the left side of my jaw swelled and began producing an incredible amount of burning consistent pain radiating up my head and through my ear which would eventually spread to my whole face. Soon other symptoms of dizziness, blurry vision, and horrible pain in my neck flooded in.

The daily pain was unbearable and after seeing countless physicians of all specialties, no one could provide a clear diagnosis or cause. I was treated with a myriad of prescription drugs and otc painkillers for all the symptoms which would soon result in an intense and consistent migraine preventing me from taking part in the most basic daily activities.

When I found myself on Dr. Gong’s doorstep I was depleted of energy and most of my hope that my life would ever return to what it once was. Like many, I felt I was at the edge of a dark abyss filled with life-long heavy medications and their crippling side effects. For context, I am a 25-year-old former collegiate athlete and had led a very active life until my condition.

What would happen next saved my life. In a matter of weeks and now months my migraine subsided to a rare headache, all other symptoms have reduced to near nonexistence. Dr. Gong was able to understand my condition as a whole whereas western specialists only study one piece. She was then able to treat the source of my problem as opposed to medicating symptomatically. As I write this I still sit in utter disbelief and immense gratitude. Dr. Gong has not only treated my physical ailments, but has counseled me and led me to a deeper understanding of what a large role our mindset plays in our health. Through my treatment I have been able to take what could be filed under “ most horrible experience of my life,” and instead learned and grown and hopefully can help someone with similar ailments to find relief.

To recommend Dr. Gong is a gross understatement. Her care for her patients as people is unlike anything I have experienced before. She provides them with steadfast confidence and comfort that a solution will always be possible. In no uncertain terms, thank you Dr. Gong for your daily pursuit of helping others.

This is long overdue for me to ackowledge the wonderful treatment I have gotten from Dr. Ellen Gong. I have been seeing Dr. Ellen for about a year now after fainting and dealing with spleen, stomach, central nervous issues and more. I have progressed so much from contiuously visiting her from 2 times a week to now once a month. I love that she not only treats you based on what you are physically going through but she was first there for me emotionally and has been so supportive of me and always wants to know how I am emotionally doing which I find a lot of Value in, especially with mental health and wellness being very important. I highly recommend Dr. Ellen and the crew to anyone and everyone. Healing takes time and within 6 months I felt and saw major improvements physically and emotionally. She is so sweet and kind and has been a Gd sent healer in the world. She provides many services from acupuncture to cupping based on your personaly body and current health issues. I wish that there were more Doctors out there like Dr. Gong.

The acupuncture here is the best I have experienced. I see Dr. Zhong and he is definitely a miracle worker. He was able to get me walking again after nerve damage to my right leg from heart surgery. The latest is how he has helped me with my thyroid and bringing it back into the normal range so I don't have to take any medication. My cardiologist says my heart is in the best shape of my life. I was in a severe neck shoulders pain since almost 15 months. Took lots of medicine constantly. They gave me temporary relief nothing else. Finally I decided to come to Accupunture and wow!!!! That was my best decision ever.

Dr Zhong is a superb doctor. He is like a magician. He takes away my pain as if I never had one. He has superb knowledge of herbs too.

I have been treated here for quite some time for lower back issues and adrenal issues, with good results. After having suffered a broken back, there were issues a few months later with pain and pinched nerves. After the first treatment, I can honestly say I was 70 percent better. As for my adrenal fatigue, it is much better, and there has been weight loss as well as an increase in energy. I highly recommend this place for anyone struggling with persistent health issues.
