After my Dad's brief stay I would not recommend this to anyone I love . You can't put a man who has his mind just his body is failing in dementia unit and expect him to thrive. I'm very disappointed In this facility. Also if what I was just told today really happened I will be livid. He was going to be long term his choice to go to a home not necessarily this one but we were fooled into thinking may be good fit. He said he got 2 vaccines while there the 2 wks before i brought him home. I was told today what they (insurance) were told they were if true he was not to have those vaccines. He was not happy there the care was meh. I went a few times in the 2 wks n rarely saw anyone except a few other residents. Not a place I would ever consider. My Dad is back home with me and I told him if he ever wants to go to a home again don't choose this one.

There are two nurses who were good and only one decent aide. The aides are inattentive and self involved. Two sit on their phones in the linen room and all ignore call bells. We had our call bell going off for 41 minutes before anyone came. They are physically rough and disrespectful, I say abusive, to patients when they arent ignoring them or mocking them. There is no professionalism, they carry on about their hair and eyelashes, their health problems, and all manner of personal issues in front of the patients while ignoring them. One nurse went to give an injection and when I asked where the alcohol was she replied "I knew I forgot something!". PT had 3 great people, one who was a ditz and one who is abrasive and disrespectful with a fragile ego. Housekeeping staff did a wonderful job and were very nice except for one.
Kitchen staff were kind and accommodating but the food leaves much to be desired, lots of carbs, no fresh fruit or vegetables. Our loved one was left without assistance MANY times putting her in dangerous situations. They continued to put her on a bed pan despite the doctors orders to get her up (she needed assistance and they wouldn't take the time). I watched one woman, who was unable to advocate for herself, left alone and neglected in the dining hall for almost 4 hours. I could go on and on and on.

I had the misfortune of spending 1/2 a day and one night in this awful place. I went there from the hospital to recuperate from major colon surgery. I arrived at 1:00pm to be put in a hospital bed that looked like it was from the 50's with a hard, lumpy, painful mattress. It took them 6 1/2 hours to get my pain meds that i was due for when I arrived. Night came and from a few rooms away there was constant screaming that went on all night. It was really freighting. I ended up sitting in a wheelchair all night because the bed was so uncomfortable. No one even came to turn my light off for me. Morning came and no one came to check on me. I pushed my call button several times at 20-minute intervals and finally I had to make my way to the nurses' station to tell them I was leaving. There was much more that happened but just too long to write. Bottom line, I wouldn't want my worst enemy to be put in this place.

If I could give zero stars I would. They offer numerous amenities to make up for the lack of quality in the care they provide. Staff is untrained and uncaring. They prefer "easy" residents that require little to no effort on their behalf. Stick a TV in front of their face and call it a day. If you really want what is best for your loved ones, DO NOT send them here.

The facility is very nice the staff friendly. Not enough staff which causes the quality of care to be poor. I do not see where they actually really provide for the needs of the residents, for example I do not see them walking nor working with very many residents for physical therapy . Besides I always was told that that was a part of assisting the people who have to stay thee. Really do not see how they get accredited because of this. Other wise it's ok. Just lacks stimulation and does not meet all of the physical, nor social needs of the individual and not sure of the spiritual needs either. I would not recommend putting your loved one into such a place for long term care.

Love, love, love the staff. Everyone there is great but not enough of them. Only one portable phone if you try to call someone there so good luck talking to a loved one. Mom gets frustrated waiting for assistance. Even when its the light for help in the bathroomthat blinks red (vs the solid white int the room) it takes far too long for someone to be available to gelp her.

A family member is currently a resident here. I am blown away by the level of care she is receiving. The employees are attentive and kind and even super accommodating towards the family. The place is clean and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Not a good place to send your elderly loved one who is not capable of taking care of themself.
They will be left to lay around alone, unattended to, and will develop life threatening bed sores.
