Mason has been truly the biggest support to my ultramarathon training. I got injured earlier this year and started trying PT, chiropractic and acupuncture to try to heal, and acupuncture with Mason was the only thing that truly healed my injury. Mason is AMAZING. I’ve dealt with a host of issues over the years from bad movement patterns after a botched knee surgery, and Mason has been able to mitigate my pain so I can safely and properly train. Working with Mason the past few months has been a fantastic first experience with acupuncture, cupping, and massage. Mason is friendly and knowledgeable and their office is relaxing and inviting. They listen intently and come up with a tailored plan for each session. I started seeing Mason for sciatica pain that has caused discomfort for years and we have slowly begun to unwind the problem through regular visits, and some tweaks to my regular exercise and supplement regime. Mason is an incredibly skilled and attentive practitioner of both massage and acupuncture. I have had a lot of massages with very experienced therapists, and Mason is the best--with the added bonus that they offer extremely effective acupuncture to address the things that massage can't quite remedy. At the start of each visit, Mason always checks in to see how things are that day, never assuming things are the same as they were on the last visit. She listens, adjusts, and always delivers exactly the right treatment for that moment. They can also handle a crisis: A few years ago, I started having intense pain on one side of my lower back--right before I had to fly to a conference where I'd be lifting and moving many boxes of books. Mason was tireless in working on my back with massage, acupuncture, and every other healing trick she could come up with, and I was ready in time, which felt like a miracle. Mason is a kind, engaging, and fun person to be around, and I highly recommend them and their services!

Mason is a great listener, patient, kind, very positive vibe, easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and intuitive. I found Mason via a recommendation from my physical therapist and couldn't be happier. Their combination of acupuncture and bodywork/massage is very restorative.

I love the combo of modalities that Mason employs. I have had plenty of other practitioners that only know how to address an issue in one way, but Mason seems to intuitively know what my body needs to optimally heal, whether it is acupuncture, massage, cupping, gua sha, or certain movements. As someone who loves deep tissue massage, I have been extremely impressed with how they can access the deeper parts of my muscle without feeling like I have to guard to protect myself... I can just relax and breathe deeply, which leads to better results. Additionally, it is rare to find a practitioner in acupuncture and massage that is also an athlete. I think Mason is better able to understand my needs because of their own experience in the gym and in sports. If you are an adult "athlete" then Mason will be the best practitioner for you, hands-down.

So many reasons why I love working with Mason: a shared appreciation for weightlifting, a deep knowledge of rehabilitative exercises, an intuitive approach to acupuncture. And as much as I love seeing them, the goal is to get me back on my feet quickly, not keep me is sessions for months. Now whenever I have an injury or an imbalance, I call Mason ASAP because I know it's the fastest way to recovery!
