Just when you are in despair, not understanding why your heater decides to shut off when the artic winter comes to Texas, Max comes in and troubleshoot my AC/Heat unit. There was something definitely wrong with my thermostat. He made sure everything was in working condition. I'm now warm, comfortable, and safe and prepared for the upcoming cold storms. My daughter's Heat pump broke. She called 2 different shops and both told her that it was her compressor and that it is not made any longer. Max was able to find a part that worked perfectly and he identified other problems and fixed those as well at a lower price than those other 2 companies quoted. I believe that he was very thorough and he seems extremely knowledgeable about HVAC.

This is a wonderful company. We woke up to our A/C not cooling. I text the number and had an appointment scheduled for the same say within a couple minutes. Max arrives on time, was very pleasant, and did great work. We will definitely use them again for any A/C or heating repair.

Max came out to replace my capacitor on the Ac unit he did a fantastic job. His customer service is very exceptional. I will continue using him for all my future AC needs. I truly enjoyed the fact he was such a honest man and explained to me all the different things my unit needed, rather than these big company’s that try to sell you everything you don’t need. He is a hard working man and took the time out of his busy day to make a stop at my house.

If you need AC work done, Max at Fix-It AC and Heat was straight with us, gave us several options at different price points and explained the pros and cons of each option without pressuring us in any direction. We decided it would be best to get a new system, but we thought it was considerate of him to offer us multiple options to accommodate our budget. He answered all the questions we had, and they installed both units quickly. The whole installation took about 4-5 hours. They gave us a very fair price for the work. We’ve had them do smaller repairs in the past, and Max has always been honest and fair in his pricing. Highly recommended!

We had gotten an estimate to fix our a/c and we were told that we needed a whole new outside unit which was going to cost $3200 and it’d be a week before the unit came in. . We called Max and even though we live in Gainesville and his business is located in Crowley, he came out the next morning and looked at our unit. He said that we needed Freon and a new capacitor which was way less than buying a new unit. Our house was cool within a few hours. I highly recommend this company and we are so grateful to Max and his crew!
