I would not go anywhere else if I’m given the choice. The staff is excellent and friendly, and Dr. Ferdowsian is five star and he’s always enjoyable to talk with and he always does an excellent job with whatever procedure I’m having. It was a toenail procedure with shots and one third of nail removed.

This is a lying misleading doctor, he says things like oh yeah theres nothing that can be done, it just needs to heal. Then wants to put a ace bandage on your foot, you say you dont want it he says no its ok just keep it, no big deal. Then bills $500 for an Ace bandage. Crooked as they come. He did nothing! And bills me outrageous amounts. This is whats wrong with our health care system.

Dr McLaughlin is the best!! Friendly, polite, and very knowledgeable! Instead of having to INCREASE a disease of medication (from pcp) a simple fix he showed me has allowed me to REDUCE my medication!!

Dr Ferdowsian was a pretty good doctor but his replacement is horrible. My husband had to have a triple arthrodesis(fusion) on his foot/ankle 2 years ago. All was going seemingly well until he stepped in a hole and broke some of the hardware in his foot. Dr. Ferdowsian got in some trouble so we had to wait a couple of months to be seen by his replacement Dr Joshua Mclaughlin. At first we thought he was going to be a good doctor. He was strait forward and was honest that he wasn't sure what needed to be done but we knew surgery was going to be in the near future. He had all the test done to confirm and a plan was developed but had stated that they may not know for certain until they got in for surgery. Dr. Mclaughlin stated that he was going to schedule the surgery for a month away and get back to us as to which hospital. That's the first 🚩red flag as he did not seem to have a hospital that he worked out of. MRI was at one, but he suggested the other may have been elsewhere. The second 🚩was he had us sign all the preoperative paperwork without a plan written down and was going to consult with another doctor. We waited for the clinic or hospital to call to verify scheduling and pre-admittance and we never recieved one. We called the clinic to find out the specifics as we had not had a call from anyone. They stated at that time that they forgot to schedule the surgery 🚩 and they also wanted to schedule another pre-op appointment because they lost the paperwork. 🚩At this point we had started to have doubts about him and the clinic all together. We went to the next appointment and was told a completely different plan from the original. 🚩The new plan was to shave a bone down that was causing a pressure point.🚩 This seemed like a 'let's do as little as possible, because I dont know what I'm doing' scenario. We opted for a second opinion from a well established orthopedic surgeon that confirmed what we already assumed. Dr Mclaughlin's plan would not work and was a bad idea. The only option was a complete redo of the fusin surgery. I wouldn't recommend Mclaughlin for anything major. Maybe a sprained ankle or ingrown toenail, but at this point it's questionable.

The doctor is pleasant and explained everything Except the cost! I didn’t expect 750$ bill for lab work for a fungus on toe!!! Also $85 for 3min chat about lab results is steep office visit. The billing dept should inform customers of insurance coverage when adding insurance info, they can do that. My fault for not asking details but I just didn’t think a fungus on toenail would be so expensive. Wow. I’m about broke after all their bills! I will just go without great toes…

I'D RECOMMEND VIRTUALLY ANYONE ELSE. The staff are all just fine. It's the doctor I should have paid more attention to.

A few years ago, Ferdowsian performed on me a painful, life-changing, aggressively invasive fusion that took more than a year to recover from, and left my toe permanently deformed. His handiwork STILL causes me discomfort and limits my activities far more than my pre-op problems did.

I want to emphasize, my faith in his recommendation and then allowing him to perform surgery on me meant measuring post-op pain in *months* instead of *days.*

A "cheap" and comparably simple tenotomy (cut a tendon) could have been more effective for less costs, less pain, and less recovery. He mentioned it but skipped over tenotomy as an option, indicating he felt we'd end up at this surgery eventually anyway. Really, it's surreal to look back and recognize how naive I was to trust him without seeking a second opinion.

He apparently spoke honestly when he told me that doctors like performing surgery because they get paid really well for them...I just didn't realize he may have been mainly talking about himself.

The star would be for the girls behind the desk my experience with Dr. Ferdownsian has very bad and he has very bad side manner. I will never go to him again I was not able to walk on my foot after he got done putting me in pain put with him tell me to not to scream while I could feel everything he was doing I felt him cut on me plus telling me to shut up so if I was y'all I would not ever go to him. And that is my review on Dr. Ferdownsian. And plus I had to go see another Dr to take care of my foot.

Absolutely hands down a great experience! The doctor and his staff are all top notch. I went to a different foot doctor here in russellville awhile back needless to say I should have came here first. I will definitely use them from now on.
