I started seeing Elijah a few years ago for Plantar Fasciitis. I’d spent 3 years with an ortho doc between rounds of pt, wearing a boot and injections. When surgery was my only recourse, he told me acupuncture at Hawken Acupuncture might help. Not only did it help, it completely went away!
I’ve been back for different ailments such as back issues and pain from a fractured ankle and been happy with the treatment I’ve received.
Besides the plantar fasciitis treatment, what I’m most grateful for is going to Elijah to discontinue my hormone treatment for my menopause symptoms. I’d taken hormones for 9 years and when I’d tried to stop before, the hot flashes were too much. With acupuncture and Chinese herbs I was able to discontinue the hormone therapy. I no longer have hot flashes, mood swings or many of the other symptoms associated with menopause.
