Dr Hixon has been the only person able to help me. I’m quite small and can hurt easily, but he never hurt me. I suffer with daily migraines, but when I went to Dr Hixon they were reduced to only about 2 a month. I stopped going because of improvement. He’s very kind and will take your financial situation into consideration, he genuinely wants to help people feel better.

I drove almost 2 hours to see this dr!!! I went to hixton a few months before writing this. The staff is amazing! Dr hixton gave me complete honesty the whole time, and was honestly the first person to actually listen to me. He directed me to get some kind of scan to give a better picture of my back. He was honest in saying that he couldn’t do very much that day, because he knew there was a herniated disc and didn’t want to do more damage.. mind you I’m 24, and I was limping, and shoulders were leaning pretty bad.. indicating that I’ve been like that for a while.. which was true! Well, I ended up going to the ER in my hometown because over that next 24-48 hours, my body doubled the pain. I got the scan I needed and found 2 herniated disc. I got a lumbar epidural which did nothing but give me a bandaid. (Would Recommend if herniated disc is found in early stages). And one month later I had surgery. It was suppose to be micro but ended up being a major surgery. Dr hi ton made the right call that day and did nothing, but did more than I could’ve ever asked.. he listened and HEARD me. And I am SO beyond grateful. No one would give me another CT or MRI because they didn’t think it was “necessary”. Well dr hixton thought it was!!! And he was right. Trust me when I say this.. this doctor WILL be honest with you in the most friendly way possible. He makes you laugh through the pain you’re feeling! I feel like this would’ve been someone I could’ve gone to for years if this wasn’t my situation. I’m very very picky with who I pick, medical wise, because of being neglected, overlooked, and mistreated by hospital and nursing staff from many facility’s… dr hixton was my last hope… little did I know that he wasn’t going to be able to do anything.. but he did everything! He gave me hope that there was truth to what I was saying, and he listened, then directed me to getting a different scan. When they did a final scan, one of my disc was pushing on my spinal cord and I had surgery 2 weeks later. But if I never had gotten that push, I don’t know how far it would’ve gone for me to go trust another hospital… but I went. And miraculously, that doctor listened to me and I got the help I needed in the long run… if I wouldn’t have gotten that push to trust just oneeeee more doctor, I would’ve eventually lost more bladder function then onto my bowels… but dr hixton GAVE. ME. HOPE. And he WILL be 100% honest in what he CAN do and CANNOT do. He WILL talk you through every step, and everything you want to know. All at the same time. He will also be listening to you and taking the time to look at your scans and/or story behind your medical history. (If needed). I’ve been in the medical field for 6+ years and he was one of the most kind hearted doctors that I’ve come across other than my surgeon at Sherwood! Thank you so much dr hixton! I had no hope, and You pretty much saved my back.. by doing nothing!! Lol i wouldn’t ask for it to have gone any other way. I would recommend anyone to him! And if anyone ever asks, this is the chiropractor you need to see!! Thank you again Doc❤️ you and your staff will be in my prayers!

I’ve given a review before on fb but going to do it again. Dr. Hixon is literally is a life saver. He believed me when I said something was wrong. He sent me for a mri. I got in that day and results that day. Saw a back doctor three days later. Had spinal infections the next day. I am so happy I landed in his office and got help! His office is so updated and clean. The front desk is okay way beyond amazing and sweet. Especially Brittany. She is the best! If you need any chiropractor care Dr. Hixon is the way to go!

Dr. Hixon has always helped my neck tremendously! The last time I was there I was in so much pain but after he adjusted me I woke up almost good as new. I’m very thankful for him.

I've been going to Hixon for about a year and a half. But I've been increasing visits since I was about 15 weeks pregnant for sciatic nerve pain and he has helped me greatly!! Plus he's super affordable! I'm now about to be 35 weeks and I'm going to keep going to him until I give birth. Plus he does acupressure!!

He's the only chiropractor who can truly fix my neck. I was having severe vertigo a year ago. I went to every other doctor you can think of until a friend said, "Have you tried a Chiropractor?" I suffered for months until Dr. Hixon fixed me. Thank you Lord for Dr. Hicion. He's the best.

Very professional and beyond friendly staff. Dr. Hixon himself is very good at what he does and it's obvious he cares about your well being and listens to your concerns. Would highly recommend.
