Dr. Jannie Is one of the sweetest women I have ever met. She is very thorough and you can tell she really cares about you as a patient. I woke up with shoulder pain that radiated down my arm from a pinched nerve one day and for weeks it was unbearable and I talked to my nurse at the school I worked at she told me it is fine not a pinched nerve and i did stretches, home remedies recommended by online chiropractor and nothing was helping. I did not have insurance and a good friend suggested going to a acupuncturist and I found her. <3 She informed me it was a pinched nerve and used a tool to get it loosened up and I could feel the pain literally shooting down my arm and out of my finger tips leaving my body. It was like magic. I was so relieved after one visit, I had to do. 2 visits total and afterward i felt completely better without any pain! It has been almost a year and I have not had any issues. I highly recommend visiting Dr. Jannie!! Thank you so much!!!

Dr. Jannie Chiang has been a Doctor of Chinese medicine for more than 40 years and her approach, diagnostic skills and knowledge of the human body's systems, nerves, muscles, nodes is remarkable. I really am in awe of her total immersion into the health of her patients.
Expect her to not only make you feel better physically but she always makes laugh.

I had a massage with a wooden stick that hurt so much I could hardly breathe. I haven’t had any similar experience in my life. My pain was worse after and lasted for long time. I also had an acupuncture that was fine, although I found one of the needles left in my neck when I got home. The service coat $100 for 30 min acupuncture and $100 for pressure point -wooden stick massage.

Dr. Jannie is amazing at what she does! I’m grateful to have found her. She helped me so much with a raised scar I had. She gradually reduced it after just a few sessions. I went to others previously but she did what all the acupuncturists couldn’t do!! She has a warm personality which made each session even better than the last.

I suffer from neck pain and lower back pain. My doctor requested MRI done on both areas as well as X-Rays. The images were clean so he suggested I do physical therapy twice a week for a minimum of two months. After the 16 sessions, I noticed no benefit and no improvement. Finally a buddy of mine suggested I give this place a visit and give them the chance to help me. I must admit I started seeing major improvement from the first and second treatment. I still have some pain but at least it was reduced by 80% and as I continue to get treated there I continue to see improvement in both areas my neck and lower back. I highly recommend Houston Acupuncture and urge you to try them before you head out to medical doctors, physical therapists, and chiropractors. The only draw back is while those doctors are covered under my medical insurance plan, Acupuncture treatment isn’t. Therefore, for a retired person like me it gets very costly and somewhat troublesome financially to continue to receive this treatment regularly and at some point I will have to stop and just use it when the pain level starts to increase again. The doctor that performs the treatment is truly phenomenal and has been really helping me a lot. I give them Five stars for their phenomenal customer service, cleanliness of the place, and the treatments they provide that addresses the issue and provides relief to the patient.

Dr. Janine and her staff are amazing! They are very caring and she takes the time to listen to you and adjust your treatment accordingly. She treats you as a whole person, not just your diagnosis. I'm so happy to have found a medical professional who takes into consideration all the components involved with my complex situation.
