Dr. Lawson is extremely knowledgeable, very thorough in explaining things, and she just flat out knows what she is talking about/doing. I went searching for someone who could help with sciatica issues. However, I did NOT want to get into a situation where I would be going for adjustments 2-3 times weekly until the end of time, which is what my past experience has been with chiropractic care.
Oh my - what a breath of fresh air Dr. Lawson has been!! I feel so fortunate to have found her! My sciatica has been solved in only 4 sessions and I will now be going on a PRN basis! Dr Lawson also adjusted both my knees - (I had no idea THAT was a thing!) - and I am walking so much better now. Definitely recommend Dr Lawson to anyone who wants real help with their health issues!!

Update to my post: Dr. Lawson is an EXPERT Chiropractor not only with spinal adjustments but also with adjusting extremities. If you have shoulder, knee, or foot pain, you have to schedule an appointment with Dr. Lawson. How do I know? I tried 3 other chiropractors in the area while Dr. Lawson was on maternity leave. Although they were all okay in their own way, Dr. Lawson is the best in my opinion. She adjusts my neck like no one else can. I suffer from headaches, and I have shoulder, knee, and foot pain, and her adjustments are helping! Her pricing is fair, she is kind and gentle, and she knows her stuff. I drive 35 miles for an appointment with her, and I would drive 135 miles.

Review from 2004: I stopped into the office today to find out about making a new patient appointment. After just a few moments, I was greeted by the doctor who took time to chat with me, show me the office, explain her adjusting procedure, and details about setting an appointment. She was able to fit me in the next day. Dr. Lawson is kind and gentle. I can't wait for my appointment. *NEXT DAY - I had my new patient exam. Dr. Lawson explained everything carefully, answered all my questions, confirmed her findings with xrays and demonstration. She took a lot of time with me. I also got my first adjustment. The Gonstead method she uses is like nothing I've ever had and it is superior! She focused in on only what needed adjusting and it was gentle, yet effective. There was no rotation of my neck, and no crunching or brute force that I've experienced in the past. I limped into the office in pain and feeling crooked, and left walking tall and feeling hopeful with much less pain. I'm sold. This is a great doctor!

Having worked in the past as a nurse, and now as a psychotherapist in private practice, I know how important it is to provide clients with quality service at a reasonable price. Following an accident in which an SUV ran a red light and crashed into our car, we were thrust into medical care. For two years we faced the legal/insurance issues and the need for a variety of medical services. Dr. Lawson was a bright spot in a dark time. She is kind and funny, supportive and understanding, and above all a skilled professional that took care of us as we made our way through a difficult time. As our chiropractic needs have continued, we drive from Powell Ohio to Canal Winchester to her office. Because she avoids our encouragement to move to our area, 🙂 we drive a long way to receive her valued care. Dr. Lawson takes enough time to REALLY figure out what is going on, and always makes great decisions and adjustments. When my son was in a HORRIBLE car accident, her adjustments helped him get out of his wheelchair more quickly than any of this therapists thought would be possible. She is an incredible doctor.
