Marty and his staff are top notch and provide an excellent environment to learn the art of Karate. I’ve experienced nothing but positive energy from the students of this Dojo. Coming here was one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time! If you’re curious, do yourself a favor and give it a try!

Wonderful martial arts education location! Marty and Laura are amazing, as are those that help teach classes. From day one my little one was welcomed, encouraged, and made a part of the group. Learning about focus, listening, manners, in addition to the art of karate. Other kids are always very excited about learning and participating, and you can very much tell the instructors are equally excited. They offer programs from young child, through adults. Lots of fun, exercise, and learning. I very much recommend them 😊

My six-year-old son has an interest in karate and they allow 1st timers to go in and do a couple classes for free and try it out. Today was his first trial and I was really impressed with how well structured it was and how knowledgeable and patient the teachers were. He really enjoyed it a lot and we look forward to going there again and making it a full-time class 😎👍👍

Marty and his wife and daughter are absolutely amazing as is Mr. Whitlow! I love how they not only worry about what the kids do in class but they incorporate respect at home and school as well. My son absolutely loves going twice a week.

For anyone worried about the money put in to it....
Know that it's worth every penny. Not only do they learn karate, they learn how to be respectful, still, and listen to authority. In a very fun, age appropriate way.

Such a great place, I don't actually do martial arts, my kids do, they love every minute of it. All the instructors and sensi are fantastic people. I so much enjoy watching not only my children learn and grow, but all the children. I have no negatives about this place or the people that teach and learn here.

My young boys (8 and 5 at the time of this review) love this place. Sensei does a great job with the kids, as do the other instructors. They spar as well as do fun exercises and activities with the children. My boys now workout at home and stretch on a daily basis. Great dojo for young children.

My six year old son has been doing karate here for nearly six months and loves it. He never complains about going, which was a challenge with the other sports we have tried, and he loves to practice at home, as well.

Like one of the other posters, I was critical of the belt earning process at first. My son clearly had not perfected the katas needed to earn his yellow belt, for example, but that isn't what Sensei is looking for in the younger kids who are just starting out. He wants them to try their best, take learning seriously, and continue to love karate. The refinement will come later with age and practice. His method clearly works ... there are several kids there who have participated and have even placed in national championships. One of them is pretty young!

Sensei has been a great influence, and he does a great job of motivating my son. The motivation to excel and have discipline extends beyond the dojo, which I appreciate.

Can't wait to enroll my second boy when he is old enough (he's 2).

Today was my daughters first day, I had to run and get my wife's medicine, and was so excited to see my little girls in action, I pull in to a tiny overcrowded parking lot, tried to squeeze into a tight spot and tapped my plastic front bumper into the rear bumper of a lady's jeep. She comes out saying I damaged her tire and calls police. All the adults are acting like school children. Jaws dropped and bug eyed as they come up to her and are whispering, and staring at us. My daughters really had fun. What a shame. I would have understood if I actually damaged something. This so called "holy trinity Christian" is just looking for some kind of paycheck. We will not be back.
