I was in town for a few days and was looking for a 24/7 gym. Couldn’t be happier with Mifflinburg Muscle & Fitness. The owners have been great and you can tell that they actually work out at the gym — the gym feels a lot more like you’re working out at somebody’s fantastic home gym than stepping into a lifeless corporate gym. Despite that, they spare no expense in variety and quality of machines — my coach had warned me to only do leg workouts at commercial gyms because few non-commercial facilities have the proper machines, this was not a concern whatsoever at Mifflinburg Muscle & Fitness. I only ever ran into five other people at the gym and most of the time, I was the only one there — everyone seemed focused on their workouts and getting their work done. The gym has a great gritty feel to it, that pushed me to go much further and I felt right at home. While this gym definitely isn’t for everyone, a lot of people would probably prefer a Planet Fitness or Lifetime Fitness, it’s perfect for those who want to lift heavy and don’t care about other bells or whistles. The price is also a steal for what you get — it’s half the price of less-equipped 24/7 non-commercial gyms back home. I cannot recommend this gym highly enough and will sorely miss it.

Horrible experience. Be careful some of the members will degrade you on your weight when you are all there for one goal. Health and wellness. Completely unacceptable for the gym to allow this behavior.
