Dr. Mehvar is a master at managing physical and mental pain by means of her expertise in acupuncture and wise counseling. She is a healer. With her considerable knowledge, Dr. Mehvar treats each person individually according to that person’s needs. She integrates treatment of a particular area with treatment of the whole body and person. And she does all this with such welcoming kindness and compassion!

I first went to Dr. Mehvar for acupuncture because of tennis elbow. I now can play tennis without elbow pain, and the arthritic pain in my big toe has been reduced significantly. But what continually amazes me is that my whole life experience has improved since my acupuncture treatments and conversations with Dr. Mehvar! That is why I keep going back!

Dr. Mehvar provided treatments for a persistent shoulder pain. My shoulder x-ray didn’t show any cause, however, pain, discomfort and a bump on my shoulder were persistent. She treated the situation in two treatment sessions and it never reoccured. And most importantly, there was no medication involved only with acupuncture!
