I hardly ever write reviews but this warrants one. We started an application for a construction loan in May 2022. It took until Nov 2022 get an approval due to a verrrrrry slow and incompetent loan officer who seemed “checked out” and happy to drag her feet while the rates kept climbing. When the appraisal came in 40% below the build price we requested another appraiser but they would not entertain it. Partners Bank wanted 60% down on a build but did not inform us of this total until November (7 months later) when they finally approved the loan. We are going with another bank and are told the turnaround is 4-8 weeks.

Y'all should update your website, says you're open. 12-26-22
I'm tired of calling to check on micro deposits when my dad is trying to send money, like what the heck do we need to confirm a micro deposit for when HE is sending ME money?
Its ridiculous, been waiting since Thursday and the tellers have no clue. Had to ask the question three different times before I was transferred to customer care. Still no help

Couldn't answer when asked what guidelines and what credit agency or fico score they use to determine a personal loan.
The app has some messed up security issues. Randomly makes me sign up again for mobile banking. Plus, the fingerprint sign on has to be shut off and on again after signing up again. it's a bug in the system, imo.

if you are C-corp. THIS is not the correct Maine bank for your for a loan. An equity line on our home that is 75% paid off was denied due to a nonunderstanding of goodwill, self payback, amortization, no pay stubs. Good news, in 3 hours, Pay Pal had in our account the money wanted at 4.4%. WE BUY local because we are local- this bank when I stated upfront our C-Corp and how we file. J Should have said we will not be able to assist due to our rules ( i understand NO..just say the word). WHEN ASKED. J took valued time from my daily work for over 60 days.

Asked for change they couldn't even break a twenty dollar bill because they have a non customer limit of 10$ horrible experience wouldn't recommend this bank just don't do non customer transactions at that pace and especially do not recommend going to another business to get change them you are a fully capable of fulfilling the basic role of a bank.

My favorite bank to deal with. Everyone is great from regular banking to residential or commercial loans. Competent and knowledgeable amazing employees.
