Dr Zhou: The Best!
Dr. Zhou has been my trusted acupuncturist since I moved to Austin in 2005, and I recommend him with the highest confidence and greatest enthusiasm. Dr. Zhou is expert in his knowledge and practice, compassionate, attentive, experienced, and kind. I am a regular patient of Dr. Zhou’s, seeing him twice a month for general well-being. I immediately seek his treatment when I am ill or have had an injury. He is my doctor alongside my western (MD) practitioner, though Dr. Zhou is much easier to schedule and book! And he supervises his staff so that they are likewise caring, courteous, and attentive. Current staff member, Paul, is delightfully friendly, helpful, and works hard to book me for the days and times I need, and to rebook me if that is needed. Paul, along with Dr. Zhou, handle all the insurance matters and keep exact records of insurance payments for my treatments. Over the years everyone’s lives have become more complicated; it seems we all have less time and must juggle and rearrange to make life work. Dr. Zhou has an extremely generous cancellation and no-show policy (especially compared to most medical offices and businesses). Dr. Zhou is the best. I take family members to see him and recommend him to co-workers. It is well-being for my whole self when I go for a treatment.

I was very impressed by Dr. Zhou -- he listens carefully and respectfully and only then does he begin therapy. I especially liked his "no nonsense" approach in that he doesn't promise what he can't deliver and that is very high on my list of good medical treatment.
