I read about and was recommended to try acupuncture for a series of pregnancy pains I was experiencing in my lower back, pelvis, groin and thigh areas.
Dr Bordbar was knowledgeable, friendly and professional from the moment we met. He asked a range of questions to really understand my issues and pains and then explained the potential benefits of acupuncture whilst reassuring me that the treatment was safe to carry out during pregnancy.
It is clear that Dr Bordbar cares about delivery a good service and helping his patients, across 5 sessions he would spend time information gathering about the improvements since the previous session and the the areas of difficulty to target. He would talk me through the process and what he was doing as he was carrying out treatment and would check on me regularly.

Dr Bordbar was really interesting to talk to also as a gp and to share and discuss general medical issues - he has a way of putting people at ease and feeling very comfortable during treatment.
The acupuncture has really helped, it's relieved a lot of pain in my lower back and pretty much stopped shooting pains down my left thigh. Whilst I do still have left groin/pelvic pain (inevitable having an expected large baby and being at the end of pregnancy) it did hugely help and I think it's enabled me to actually stay mobile on my feet and in work until I had planned to stop.
I would highly recommend Dr Bordbar to anyone experiencing any pains or issues, I also know people who have had fertility issues helped and periods become more regular with the use of acupuncture so there is a huge range of issues it can assist with.
I will for sure be going back to Dr Bordbar in the future with any issues that arise and have already recommended him to numerous family and friends - thank you Dr! 🙂
