Unique spot where you are surrounded in what seems like an outdoor rock garden filled with items from an antique shop. Service was very friendly but slow at times. We tried 4 different tapas and although good they were not at a level we expected reading the reviews. Cost was steep but worth a try when in the area, you won't see another restaurant like this one. Side note, although we didn't sit at the bar I snapped a pic as it is very cool looking.

One of top restaurants in Bar harbor area that is worth a try. Great tapas plates and drinks. Several options to choose from. My favorites were beef skewers, kale and Brussels salad, and hummus dip.

Wow! Best food in bar harbor. Each dish is thoughtful, interesting, and delicious. While the price is high for the portion amount, each dish continued to impress us! The variety in food items should also allow large group to enjoy the restaurant as much as we did!

Had a second incredible visit to Project Social. The manager, Avery I believe, once again made us feel welcome like old friends even though it had been a year since last visit. Bar tender was attentive and helpful. Squash soup, hummus plate, among other items were excellent. All servers were prompt and courteous. Very comfortable environment....a must stop.

Best dinner I had with my boyfriend in Bar Harbor on our 4 day weekend. Our server Alex was so sweet and had great recommendations on food and drink. The plates were small and filling, 5 was more than enough for the two of us. We tried 4 cocktails (I tequila, him whiskey) and they were all delicious, non-processed, and fresh. Ambiance was romantic light music, lights, and waterfall. Definitely hit this place if you’re in the area!

This place is a WIN!!!
I was so done with lobster, haddock and same menu in Bar Harbor. Come hear and be pleasantly surprised. Get the butternut curry soup, kale salad, beef skewers and trio dip and be satisfied.

We had dinner here in early August 2024. I called ahead for reservations but they didn't take any. However the staff was so sweet to let me know exactly what was available and when I got there the tables were available as promised.

They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We were a little cold at 6 45 pm and got an outdoor table at the porch but it was quite warm.

The server was very polite and made good recommendations.

Our favorite dish was the oxtail toast. It had a generous topping of oxtail stew cooked very well the second favorite dish was the kale and brussel sprouts salad which was a little spicy and not at all bitter. The vegetables were tender and finely sliced.

The seared scallops could do with a little more seasoning. Presentation was lovely though.

The prosciutto toast was also very nice but just ok. Didn't stand out like the oxtail toast.

The crab cakes were also just ok. Not worthy of special mention. But the meal tasted best with our ice cold Allagash White beers.

I would recommend this place to anyone who wants small plates to share.
