If I could give Robert Half more stars, I would. As I read the reviews, I was shocked. That has not been my experience at all. I guess my recruiter is just the bomb. He calls me, preps me to ask how I’m feeling about interviews, follows up continuously. I have been hired through Robert Half, they check on you, they’re not pushy if it doesn’t work out. I absolutely love Robert Half! I would encourage you to try a different recruiter if you have had one that didn’t work out, but no complaints here. They have always taken care of me.

I stopped by the office unannounced to apply for a position; I was greeted and treated very kindly by a gentleman who took my info and spoke with me. While I didn’t leave with any offers, I did have a better understanding of what the company looks for when staffing IT jobs. Very professional and courteous. Thanks.

If I could give a zero for communication I would. Working with Robert Half has been a horrible, disappointing experience. Unfortunately, you may never get a response about a posting you're interested in, even if you work directly with someone on their staff. There needs to be more communication once you are submitted for a role, they like to say IF you don't hear from them, but that's not an if – you won't hear from the recruiter you are working with if the client passes on your profile. You may not hear from them again unless they have another role to share. Also, be prepared to be ignored or avoided when trying to get ahold of your contact by phone or email. Searching for a job in this current market is stressful, but working with this company makes it even worse. I always recommended RH to people who needed work but after months of getting the runaround and being ghosted after already expressing my concerns about my experience with someone directly, never again.

Update: was told to call their feedback line on this review and no one bothered to answer the phone. I won’t be leaving a message, this just reaffirmed that RH is a horrible agency to work with and they don’t care about helping job seekers. Most of their recruiters are unresponsive and just looking to add you to the list of applicants they reached out to (but didn’t actually assist).

Legit it's really a -00 stars. I came from another state and I have worked with RH for years off and on and have always gotten work (good jobs). But this foolishness here in TX is a joke. They barely call you for positions and when they do it's like they don't have the full details for the jobs they "ALWAYS" have to get back to you regarding the position they called you for, only to tell you "ooh
I think the employer filled the job several days later." This has happened at least 5 (YES 5) times. Needless to say this is the most UNPROFESSIONAL RH I have ever seen. If this were going on in my home state they would all be fired or out of business. Please don't waste anymore of my time with your unprofessionalism, and please don't respond with that tired, brokedown response of how sorry you are because YES for a recruiting agency you are SORRY!

I came here to check what people who used this agency say. What a surprise! They said exactly what I wanted to say.
I came to RH in 2008. Then in 2017. Then in 2020. And now in 2023. Zero results!
Since April 2023 I applied to about 30 positions. I also received 16 emails from RH employees. Nobody ever called or emailed about my applications. I replied to every RH person who emailed me but they never responded. I called many times - voicemail.
I am not even sure that this business actually exists.
I need a job as soon as possible and there in the agency that has lots of vacancies but never replied. Very disappointing...

I submitted my resume to Robert Half and was able to get in touch with a recruiter a few weeks later. We spoke with one another over Microsoft Teams and she was very professional and to the point. The following week she contacted me regarding a potential opportunity and asked if I was interested. I confirmed my interest, she asked for my resume (for the third time, mind you), and I left it to her to get me in front of the prospective client. This position was slated to start two weeks after she contacted me, and she never reached back out again despite my multiple attempts to ask for updates. At first I thought that maybe she had some personal things going on, and if that were the case then I would have completely understood the silence. However, I found the recruiter's LinkedIn profile and saw that she had been active on that platform the entire time, while ignoring my emails.

During our initial conversation she told me that if I didn't hear from her for a while that it didn't mean she had forgotten about me. Well, this situation proves the opposite is true. I do not expect her or anyone to reach out and give me an update on every little thing. But, if you present me with a time-sensitive job opportunity, and I give you everything you need to move forward and you stop responding which allows for the job window to close, then I believe I deserve some sort of explanation for the behavior. Even a simple "I'm sorry, but I got caught up" would have sufficed, but I didn't even get that.

Also, the recruiter mentioned that she had been working for Robert Half for eleven years. I would like you to sit on that for a moment.

Just as useless and worthless as all the other so-called "employment agencies". They don't call you, they don't respond to you, they won't talk to you. You ask for help and all they do is send you a link to their jobs.

Don't waste your time with these liars. Their website claims they give you all the help you need, when in fact, they couldn't care less. There is NOBODY there interested in talking to you, much less giving you the time of day.

And all other "employment services" work the exact same way from my experiences. You're better off researching jobs online on your own, than wasting your precious time with these hacks.

I spoke with one person & did an interview. I contacted them after and was never able to reach any one again. I've done a lot of applications for data entry work & also sent in my resume to Makenzi Chance. I have left emails & voicemails. I'm always transferred to an office in my area & I've asked for other locations. Is there anyone that can assist?
