Move from Virginia to Bryan Arkansas had to experience the emergency room in Saline County Hospital. Don’t ever go there. Go to a clinic before you go to this hospital. The nurses sucks and staff sucks. I would never ever visit this hospital again. If the emergency room is bad, imagine the hospital came in at 8 AM. Lab was drawn at 8:30 never seen a nurse or a nurse practitioner until 4 PM. If you have any elderly family members bypass saline County hospital, they are atrocious. they don’t deserve one star now I know why the ratingi 2.6 staff sucks I am warning, all my military friends, and all my visitors do not go to saline County Hospital. no carrying and no compassion for patience. need to get into another profession if my spelling is messed up, you understand what I mean, cause I am upset and disgusted with this hospital.

My husband was recently in the Emergency Department for chest pain. With him having a fairly extensive cardiac history, it’s always a bit scary to think he could be having another heart attack. From the moment we entered the doors, we were met with smiling compassionate staff who immediately started working to take care of him. The entire staff was amazing and I’m so thankful to have an emergency room that I can feel confident in.

I recently had occasion to be treated in the ER at Saline. No one likes to be in that situation, but I have to say that the entire staff that I came in contact with were on top of everything immediately, they did proper testing and kept me informed. The doctor was top-notch and explained to me everything that was going on And treated me as a real person and not a person who just happened to be going through the process. The nurses were caring and attentive to my needs and wants. Well, I hope no one needs to have an emergency visit, I would totally and without hesitation recommend Saline memorial hospital ER department.

I've been in Healthcare for over a decade and the level of service and care at this facility are at the bottom of the barrel. It's horrible! Allowed my loved one to stay covered in his own vomit/Diarrhea, he's 89!!! Then proceeded to have his 78 year old wife attempt to clean him. Gave him a shot of morphine, then proceeded to allow him out of his bed to STAND unassisted to urinate in a jug. liability. IV came out of his hand, a nurse was told, they just left it. I told HIS nurse, she said yeah, I knew it had, I just assumed, they took it off. Ridiculous. His nurse was rude, neglectful along with other staff. Another patient laid in a room, naked, in a soiled depends, yelling for help, and he was ignored. The level of your care is trash, ESPECIALLY the ER. When I questioned the ER nurse, she became defensive. Soap dispenser in his room, dead batteries, had to ask for a roll of toilet about 5 times throughout the day, asked the bathroom garbage to be removed due to the smell of the diarrhea of him being cleaned, and still has not been done. Not to mention pafford ambulance service will lie when asked to be transported to another facility, telling you that the heart hospital doesn't have LIFE SAVING EQUIPMENT to resecitiate you if you code. Comical. 10/10 DO NOT recommend going here!

If I could give negative stars I would. I don’t know what has happened to this hospital that 20 years ago was decent place to go. I have two incidents. One was taken by ambulance only to sit and charged for 8 hours. Finally diagnosed with diverticulitis but they would not release me and told no rooms etc. along with one APRN arriving second shift to walk in and tell (sarcastically) me we’re going to be best friends right? I worked at a hospital and that is very disturbing to me. When a doctor finally came in after 8 hours he walked in one second and released me. I was then charged for 8 hours in emergency room
Second incident
I decided to give Saline another chance(bad call js) and get a colonoscopy
I waited for over 3/4 hours waiting because my assumed is they overbooked
They also try new caterer and it pops in my hand and swell’s up like a baseball along with bruising. Then they leave air in me and had a very dangerous painful expyafter colonoscopy. Then they charged me (was pre authorized with no charges due to preventative care and paid copay as well upon procedure) and still battling with billing service over these unwarranted charges which will be turned over to legal attorneys soon if not handled by this month. I was told was handled one year ago and just got statement after one year and told has been pending for a year. I paid for emergency room visit that was out of my hands but will not pay for a pra preventative care procedure I have never ever been charged for in other facilities. Again I am retired now but worked at a hosting LR for 24 years and know it is free for exception of co pay. Most likely will see you in court soon. Hopefully someone competent will resolve

My sister and I went to the hospital three weeks ago because her ankle was super swollen. We were sitting in the waiting room for three hours, and when we got to the back we were waiting there another two. I am a patient person, so it wasn’t that bad. They ended up telling her that she had a serve sprain and gave her a brace. Today she went to get a second option, and it turns out it her ankle was broken and she torn a ligament. We will NEVER AGAIN go to saline memorial. How hard is it to tell that a bone is broken!!? Now we have wasted money just for them to be wrong.

I see a great deal of negative feedback about this particular hospital but I want to say I have never been taken care of better or with such care as I was in their ER. I am a veteran and the difference from how I have been treated healthcare wise between the VA and Saline Memorial is like night and day. They performed the necessary tests on my heart and prescribed the right medication which the VA never did. Years of dealing with the VA and it has been a real nightmare. So thank you Saline Memorial Hospital for your kindness and care and I wish so bad I had private insurance because I would be going to local doctors here in Benton. Bless you all.
