I highly recommend Dr. Mckenzie for pregnancy & postpartum chiropractic work! As a first-time expectant mom, I felt so comfortable and cared for during my prenatal visits. Dr. Mckenzie was super informative and helped me with a lot of the lower back pain, severe migraines and general discomfort I was experiencing throughout my pregnancy. I know her gentle and informed approach also helped to prepare & optimize my body for birth. After my baby girl was born, she was experiencing a lot of digestive issues like gas and constipation that we couldn’t seem to figure out. I immediately trusted Dr. Mckenzie for pediatric care, and it made a huge difference in my baby after just one visit! The care is gentle, effective, and personalized and the entire Seek Health environment is so welcoming. I’ve been going to Seek Health for chiropractic work and sauna for the last two years and I highly recommend them.

Dr Jude is an excellent chiropractor. He combines soft tissue work with his adjustments which I’ve found really increases their effectiveness. His size and strength are a huge asset as well, I’ve had a lot of adjustments over the years and his have a unique feeling to them that I really appreciate. I haven’t had the chance to work with Dr. Mackenzie but I can say that her positive energy is infectious.

Seek health is a great asset for Carpinteria, do yourself a favor and check them out.

Dr. Cervini was a Godsend right when I needed her! I was 9 weeks pregnant when my former chiropractor went on a leave of absence. I didn’t think I would feel comfortable with a new chiropractor but when my husband starting seeing Dr. Hockel, he shared that his partner specialized in prenatal care which piqued my interest. I felt so comfortable with Dr. Cervini and she made sure to acknowledge and address any concerns I had after a season of miscarriage and infertility. Fast forward, she became a pivotal part of my pregnancy journey, even providing an adjustment the day I went into labor. I’ve enjoyed her continued care and have been able to bring my daughter to appointments which is so helpful. She has even become one of Dr. Cervini’s patients now too with her pediatric care skills! We love Dr. Cervini and Dr. Hockel so much and will be Seek Health patients for life!

Seek Health is such a wonderful addition to Carpinteria! Dr. Jude Hockel and Dr. McKenzie Cervini are extremely friendly and professional.
Dr. Jude has turned Active Release Technique (ART) into an art form! He tailors his treatments to my current needs.
He has helped me immensely with my back (sacroiliac and hip) issues, and more recently with a strained arm muscle. His explanations and between visit tips are very clear and helpful. ART is not available with other chiropractors in town and makes all the difference. They also offer laser light therapy.
Kristin is an amazing massage therapist.
I also had a yummy and relaxing sound healing session with Tamara Monosoff and can’t wait until she returns in the fall!
I have yet to try the sauna or yoga classes, but no doubt they are also stellar.

I could not have survived my pregnancy without Dr. McKenzie! I had been taking my son and got pregnant with my second and decided to go with her since she is Webster certified (super important to me with pregnancy). I cannot explain the relief she helped bring to me on bad pregnancy days, with major hip and SPD pain. I tell all my friends about her and also immediately brought my newborn to her!
