I have not been in our new hospital simply because I haven't needed any test or a ER. That being said my Orthopedic Dr. wants me to have some therapy on my hand by a OT so I called the hospital to see if they had one the answer was yes, but she doesn't have a license yet, but should have in a couple of weeks we will call you when we are scheduling. This was in early September I waited about 3 weeks no call, so I called back I was told well she hasn't started yet hopefully by October first week we will call you. So again I waited no call so I called back I ask when is she starting they had no answer for me. So I called to the administration surely they know, so I actually found out there was a delay due to the license on a start date. So I said I needed to get the therapy so I guess I will check other places. I was informed that the other Therapy place in De Queen doesn't have one either. But I found that they do. Still waiting for the hospital to call me. I hope they to improve on these issues because we need this hospital and the services it offers. The best way to make it better is knowing there are issues that need to be addressed. Good communication with patients and potential patients is a must because that is revenue lost. This hospital is ours. the taxes you pay fund it, so we want the best care we can get.

I've been going there for physical therapy and they are great and very supportive. I also ate there and they have the most amazing salad. A friend of mine ate there and said that they had great hamburgers also. 2 months ago I went to the ER 2 months ago and I was not impressed. They need a total reevaluation of how things are done in the there ,and the people there that are practicing medicine sorry to give the bad news.

(Read if you want) 💀💥💥💥

My mom had a medical emergency, and at just 16 years old, I found myself having to drive her all the way to the hospital in DeQueen. I rushed her to the emergency entrance very scared, only to be met with stupid delays. No one came to help us for what felt like an eternity at least five long minutes while my mother was in excruciating pain, screaming and crying uncontrollably. And the waiting room wasn’t even busy.

When I finally got her inside, they still asked for basic information...her birthday, her phone number—as if she wasn’t in the middle of a life-threatening emergency. My mother was suffering in front of them, and all they could do was casually ask questions like it was a routine appointment. I’ve always been painfully shy, the kind of person who avoids confrontation at all costs 💀💀💀. But in that moment, I wanted to scream at them, to beg them to hurry.😞 This was my mother, and she was slipping away in front of my eyes, yet their indifference was soul-crushing.

When they finally called her back, they didn’t even help her into the room. That was left to me. A 16-year-old, terrified for my mom, doing what the medical staff should have been doing. They didn’t act until her heart rate dropped dangerously low. One nurse, who seemed almost disinterested, came in only to check her blood pressure. She said nothing, did nothing to comfort us, and then disappeared for almost an hour. I was left alone in that cold room, watching my mother suffer.

At one point, she felt like she was going to throw up, and there was nothing, absolutely nothing around to help her. Panicking, I ran out to ask for help. But what did I see? BRUHHH A group of nurses just standing there, chatting in the hallway, completely oblivious to the suffering happening in that room. I stood there helpless, while they continued their conversation as if nothing urgent was happening. Eventually, someone came—but only after they finished talking.👹

If you are reading this, I beg you. go to another hospital. Please, don’t put your loved ones in the hands of a place where 75% of the staff seem more interested in their paychecks than in saving lives. Nursing is a profession that requires heart, compassion, and dedication. It’s not just a job. My mom is okay now, but I’ll never forget the cold, detached faces of people who chose this field for all the wrong reasons. But a least the doctor was nice.

Thanks for reading..

I walked in the hospital 2 weeks ago thinking I was having indigestion. Come to find out I was having a heart attack. The doctor, nurses, and all staff were outstanding. I couldn't have asked for better treatment anywhere. Thanks to all who took care of me. It was a blessing. Hang on to your pen though!!! (Jordan)

Front desk and nursing staff, absolutely wonderful. Waited 3 hours in a room to have a first day supposed Doctor come in. Clueless. Rude. Had to repeat over and over again, my wife's ongoing symptoms. She didn't (couldn't?) read the chart which explained everything. Repeat several times verbally current and previous medications, just to have her return to have to Repeat them again. Older lady. Seems VERY, VERY, confused . THIS IS THE WORST CARE I'VE EVER WITNESSED IN A HOSPITAL SETTING.
