Mi experiencia con Teams Acupuncture ha sido excelente. Llevo más de un año padeciendo de problemas con el tendón de Aquiles. En ese periodo de tiempo he visto podiatras, usado botas para inmovilizar el pie, recibido terapia física, usado medicamentos para el dolor, etc. A pesar de que estos tratamientos lograron alguna mejoría con mi problema, el dolor regresaba al poco tiempo. Por eso decidí tratar el tratamiento de acupuntura. Este tratamiento ha sido de inmediato alivio para la condición; el dolor ha reducido grandemente y y la flexibilidad ha mejorado rápidamente. Acudí a la Dra. Dr. Long is a skilled and wonderful practitioner, my experience with her has been great! I had an acute middle ear infection, that then caused Bell's Palsy. I was diagnosed in the ER with Bell's Palsy 4 days after the onset of the ear infection, both were new diagnoses for me. The ER physician prescribed 3 different medications for the ear infection and BP. The Bell's Palsy caused facial paralysis on the left side of my face (I couldn't move any facial muscles on the left side) and the ear infection was painfully uncomfortable and caused tinnitus (ringing in my left ear).
As soon as I got home from the ER, I started the medications and my research on middle ear infections and on Bell's Palsy, it gave me some hope and I understood that early timing and treatment was a very important factor.
4 days after the ER visit and starting the medications, I reached out to Dr. Long's office for an acupuncture appointment, the office responded the same day. I started the acupuncture treatments 5 days after the ER visit.
Dr. Long's office is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The initial assessment was very informative, it helped me gain better understanding of the types of treatments necessary to help with the ear infection symptoms and the Bell's Palsy.
The symptoms I had prior to treatment were: ear infection to left ear, inflammation, very painful and extremely tender to touch, loud ringing in my ear, nausea; the Bell's Palsy caused temporary facial paralysis and asymmetry to the left side of my face (could not move left eyebrow or close my left eye nor blink, could not smile on left side nor chew because the muscles in my cheek could not move, could not close the left side of my mouth, couldn't blow or whistle, could not hold in food or liquid on left side).
By DAY 3 of acupuncture treatment the pain in my ear reduced significantly, I noticed small sensations in my left lips while brushing my teeth.
By DAY 4 there was less ear pain and the symmetry in my face had slight improvement.
By DAY 5 of the treatment the pain in my ear decreased 80% but the ringing in my ear was still present. I could hold food a little better and chew somewhat better on the left side.
By DAYS 8 & 9 of treatment the ear pain was gone, the ringing in my ear was 75% better, my sleep improved a great deal, I regained more symmetry with the left side of my face.
I've noticed small improvements with each acupuncture treatment and Dr. Long also gives daily exercises for me to practice at home.
I still have a few more acupuncture sessions to go, and I feel relieved, grateful, and hopeful for continued healing. My smile is returning, I can now fully blink my left eye and wink, I can raise my left cheek and purse my lips together, and hold in liquids/food.
Dr. Long is kind, patient, attentive, informative, and gentle. This is my first experience with acupuncture and it has been a great experience and I'm learning more about my body and the patience with healing. I highly recommend Dr. Long! There are 2 locations (Wellington and Boca). As a patient, it's very important to get diagnosed and assessment early so that you're able to start your treatments early.

I am so thankful to Dr.Long for giving me my life back. I injured my back in February and made it worse in April during a move. My pain level before my first appointment was a 9/10 on my worst days. It went down to a 6/10 after my first treatment and now even when I don't do my stretches, it hasn't been higher than a 2 on my worst day. I'm sleeping like a rock now. During the first 2 weeks of treatment, I would experience pain in adjacent muscles the day after my sessions. I trusted the process and am so glad I did. My mobility has improved tremendously. I moved cabinets this week and had no pain afterwards. I am also able to lift and play with my nephews (toddlers) without pain and discomfort- something I haven't been able to do for 9 months. In addition to the acupuncture, Dr.Long has recommended heat application and stretches for me to do at home and throughout the workday which have also helped. I spent 9 months in pain and hundreds on xrays, a CT and an MRI in addition to specialist copayments with absolutely no improvement. Today I just wish I would have started acupuncture sooner.

I started going to see Dr Long because my snoring was creating issues with my partner and because I was getting up 2-3 times per night to the bathroom. It has been 3 weeks since we started treating these issues and snoring is no longer a topic. My frequent bathroom visits at night are now down to one and very close to 6 am! I have been suffering from nerve damage in my mouth post multiple root canals. I have been treating with TeamAcupuncture for 3 visits thus far. I am seeing improvement as the pain is subsiding during my visits. Although I am not completely pain free, I have at least seen some improvement. None of the medical providers have been able to assist me other than recommending drugs. I cannot live drugged up forever and TeamAcupuncture has provided a light at the end of the tunnel and I am so very grateful. I highly recommend their treatment services.

Dr. Long is very wonderful. She is skilled, knowledgeable, and takes time to explain how she will treat your symptoms. I am seeing Dr. Long for my issues with my gut and undiagnosed autoimmune disorder. Within the first treatment I was feeling better and by treatment 5 I feel like a different person.
