Stop looking! You’ve found the location of the most amazing human and Chinese Medicine practitioner on the planet! Dr. Kraus is always studying to expand her already vast knowledge in Chinese medicine. She will tailor a plan with acupuncture and herbs to get you feeling your best again. If you’re not interested in acupuncture you should at least visit her apothecary. It’s the largest, best organized, and best stocked apothecary in the area! I first visited Dr Kraus in June for relief of allergy symptoms, fatigue and poor sleep. I was taking three allergy medications together daily just to keep the symptoms at a bare minimum. I woke up multiple times during the night and never felt rested. I noticed immediate improvement with my first visit. My stuffy nose cleared within 20 minutes of drinking my first cup of herbs. The congestion and sleep issues resolved a few appointments later. Thank you Dr Kraus!

A menstrual cycle gone chronically haywire is what originally led me to Dr. Schuyler Kraus. At the time of my first appointment, my periods and accompanying agonies had increased in both duration and severity to the point where I only had a few days of exhausted respite each month. The solutions offered by other providers were bleak, limited to a life-time subscription to hormonal birth control or strong painkillers. I didn’t know exactly what my healing needed to look like, but I had a feeling it wasn’t that.
Initially, our sessions consisted of acupuncture and guidance on various lifestyle elements (hydration, food intake, stress, etc.). While my cycle remained stubbornly excessive, the rest of my body began to heal in ways I didn’t even realize it needed: my skin became unrecognizably clear; my hair shifted into softness; I felt both stronger and more present in my body; and my brain was no longer struggling to tamp down the “buzzing”, anxious full-body sensations I’d grown accustomed to for so long.
After some time, Dr. Kraus suggested that we try incorporating Chinese herbs into my treatment. These herbs didn’t come in the form of pre-filled, aging capsules or packets – rather, every component of the little paper bags of healing I received came from Tenet’s onsite apothecary, carefully curated by Dr. Kraus specifically to aid my ailments.
