I attended their "joint camp" class after finding out about it while touring the facility. I requested a tour in order to help me decide where to have my hip replacement surgery done. I am quite impressed with how thoroughly the class covered information on the procedure and how they will care for me. They answered all my questions and concerns thereby putting me at ease. They even fed us dinner! I'm terrible remembering names but the young woman doing the presentation explained everything in detail that is easily understood. Also, Dan who explained about recovery and physical therapy was equally informative. Thank you to both of them and all the wonderful staff. So of course I will be at ease for my upcoming surgery here. I recommend this place and their wonderful people.

My mother was at this facility for 3 weeks and had nothing but praise for the INCREDIBLE staff at all levels. The doctor and nurses were caring, thoughtful and took their time to get to know her and listen to all her concerns. The PT specialists were FANTASTIC and helped her achieve her goals in record time. The food service was extraordinary. All in all, it’s never good to need a specialist hospital, but when you do, having such 5-star staff makes it special. Thank you from the bottom of my mother’s heart and the whole family. You gave us a gift that’s priceless.

I was extremely worried about going through with my hip replacement surgery. My mom had it done and I saw first hand what she went through. Needless to say I didn’t have any thing to worry about. Everyone at Spring Valley Specialty Hospital from admission to discharge was 1st class all the way. My nurses and physical therapists were great. They always made sure I had everything I needed. They made sure I had the correct tools to a successful and speedy recovery. The private room was nice for my visitors. I highly recommend this facility and its staff to anyone having a hip replacement. Thank you, everyone!!

The doctors and PA, Anesthesiologist, Nurses, and Physical Therapist are excellent they go above and beyond to ensure my mom receives the best care possible. Except for the 2 nurses from the pre-op and recovery dept with “Leadership” on their ID. They are like a boss and when they talk they are not pleasant, they sound like they are angry when they talk to the patient, grumpy, and not even smiling. Nurse Rachel, one of the nurses in the recovery is a top-notch! She took care of my mom beyond compare, and was attentive, compassionate, and very approachable I felt comfortable asking questions and discussing my mom’s concerns. The evening shift Nurse Toni and Nurse Nico are the best too! They are very hard-working, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Dan the therapist is very accommodating and a person with a good soul, he is very patient assisting my mom get her to walk after her hip replacement. To all the staff of VHSH, I can't thank you enough for the special, excellent care you have provided to my mom and for the unique gift you are to your patients.
Your dedication to your profession and your patients is admirable. Dr. Nevins thank you so much for the great care and successful surgery you performed on my mom. We are blessed that you are my mom’s doctor! The facility was impeccably clean! I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone.
