I stopped by this place for dinner and tried the tacos. If I had to rate them on a scale from 1-10, I'd give them a 2. Unfortunately, the ingredients didn't seem fresh and they were pretty flavorless. On a positive note, the French fries were tasty, although I found them a bit too salty for my liking.

Excellent service. Food was meh.

I ordered the cauliflower and tofu tacos. Both weren’t warm. Generous amount of tofu. I am impressed by them having more than one vegan option though.

My gf ordered the beef and shrimp tacos. The flavors weren’t robust, just one note on each. The shrimp was spicy. The beef was sweet.

The like was dry and difficult to squeeze.

The fries , ketchup and salsa were delicious.

2024-9 Update: Still great food. The Asian Mexican fusion is really nice. We were surprised that they don’t sell adult beverages here anymore. I’m not sure if that is temporary or not. Great service and portions are large enough to fill you.

Original 2024-5 review: Great Mexican restaurant with high quality food and great atmosphere. Extra feature is their great (adult) drinks. You order at the order counter and the food is bought out to your table. The tacos, quesadillas and my chicken rice bowl were excellent as was the margaritas. Fun and friendly atmosphere.

I had Yumbii's sesame Fries years ago from their food truck, and they are awesome at the restaurant as well! Hot and crispy with great flavor. The wings were also freshly made and very tasty.....we had to wait a while for them to cool down. The Honey Sriracha is highly recommended...the fresh cilantro was a nice surprise.

Love Yumbii. When you can’t decide between Asian food and Mexican food, this is the spot.

The tacos are my go-to and I usually like the Asian ribeye beef, the fish taco, and the chicken taco, but I’ve enjoyed the others as well.

My wife always gets the burrito with the Asian ribeye beef and it’s great. Just tried the Philly (again with the ribeye) for the first time and while it is insanely messy, it’s very tasty (could use a toast of the bread though since it’s gets soggy fast).

Wings are solid, the sesame fries are super good, the elote is a large serving and excellent, and the churros are little bit sized goodness.

I prefer eating in vs taking out (so much sauce) but it’s great either way.

I’ve been here a few times and each experience was good, their custom drinks are pretty nice, I love their lemonades, they have a few different flavors. Their sesame fries are a must have/try and I am a huge fan of their pulled pork tacos ( I ate one before even taking this photo that’s how good they are ). A bit more on the pricy side at times but they run a deal through DoorDash for buy one get one sesame fries every now and then. The atmosphere is modern and their dining room isn’t huge, it can be a bit difficult to find parking on certain days of the week and times.

Yumbii is delicious and certainly a unique flavor. This is the first time we visited the Toco Hills location and there’s plenty of nice seating and the food came out quick. We love the food here and will be back.

I was craving tacos one day and decided to check out a new spot, Yumbi, and I’m glad I did! The tacos were delicious—packed with flavor and a great size. My only slight critique is that they were a bit messy, but that’s a small price to pay for such tasty bites. The prices were super reasonable, especially considering how generous the portions were. The location is conveniently off the Beltline, and I can’t forget to mention the $5 margaritas, which are an absolute steal!

The churros were the perfect finishing touch—a much-needed sweet treat to cap off the meal. Overall, I’ll definitely be coming back for more tacos, margaritas, and churros, all at prices that won’t break the bank!
