I went to this establishment for really bad sciatica pain. I first had a consultation with Dr. Lee. She was so kind and provided such warmth and care to the consultation. She went through my symptoms and the medications/supplements I currently take. She suggested I try cupping, acupuncture and a medicinal massage. The room I was taken to after the consultation was like a spa massage room with calming music and lighting. There were heat lamps in the room positioned near a couple areas of the massage table. Each treatment was more impactful than the prior. The acupuncture needles were very light. I could hardly feel them in my back. The massage was hardcore. I never experienced a massage like this. It helped so much. The massage technician has hands of gold. The doctor also provided a printout of what next steps should look like at home including an anti-inflammatory diet and stretching exercises. I will definitely go back! Also, the staff was very welcoming and friendly and the front waiting area had water and snacks. Overall, a great experience.

After visiting several western chiropractors for my problems I decided to try Shanghai Chinese medicine and acupuncture as I wasn’t getting the results I wanted. This is a month or so after I’d given birth to my first child and had nagging problems ranging from my back and hips to other areas.

The place was very clean and had immaculate service which was a breath of fresh air compared to the normal conveyor belt type treatment I’ve received at many other medical treatment facilities. I took the acupuncture and massage the first time to try and have been going back weekly since then as I felt immediate relief.

The doctors wrote a post partum plan for me including diet and Ayurvedic treatment which seems to be working - I feel much more rested. The special massages have relived lots of tension and opened what were clogged ducts. This seems to have also helped increase my lactation which has been a wonder for myself and the baby. The acupuncture and cups were done very lightly and I felt no pain or discomfort. Again I want to reiterate the professionalism and service of the staff and ambiance as it really helps set a relaxing mood to achieve the desired results. They have just the right amount of aromatics and lighting and the beds are also heated which I love. I recommended anyone to give this place a try- I have even being attempting to get my husband to come once my program is finished.

Wow! What an absolute pleasure it is to come to this office and receive such an amazing service.
Dr Lee and the team are amazing, they are patient, kind, professional. Dr lee helped me with IBS and lack of energy, after only 2 appointments I feel so much better, like a new me. Everyone who works in the office is so lovely, flexible, and accommodating to your needs and timing. There is no one that I would trust more in the city for acupuncture.

I recently visited Shanghai Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture for relief from my asthma symptoms and was thrilled at the facilities, service and results! The space is clean and well organized, pleasant with a day spa feeling. The doctors are very knowledgeable and communicative every step of the way, they informed me of their observations, what the observations meant and how they would treat me. After the first treatment I was exhausted but felt immediate relief from my symptoms. I have now had two treatments and my symptoms continue to improve. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a Chinese Medicine practice that is both knowledgeable and showing a high level of expertise! I'll definitely be back!

Super clean clinic and friendly staff/doctors. I came in due to neck pain and within two sessions I started feeling better. Dr. Lee is super nice and skilled at inserting the needles (painless and I cannot feel them). The massage therapist, Lu, also does an amazing job and knows how to provide muscle relief. 10/10 would recommend this place.

After many many years of bouncing around from doctor to fertility specialist to reproductive endocrinologist I found my home! Dr. Lee and the staff at Shanghai Acupuncture helped me through some hard times and a very joyous time and all with unbelievable empathy and sense of community. Dr. Lee helped me through difficult fertility treatments and through a wonderful pregnancy right to the end when my waters broke on the acupuncture table!!
I would go to the Shanghai Acupuncture for any ailment and would recommend it to everyone.
